I graduated from Iowa State and today sucks balls. But to be upset about a hawkeye fan talking smack is dumb. Of course that will happen.

Looking at that game objectively, when a sideline reporter is telling us that the team is blaming the refs and fighting amongst each other in the huddle, that's a recipe for disaster. Iowa State is lucky UAB couldn't shoot straight or it would have been a much bigger loss. (UAB shot 35%, 17% from 3)

Iowa State was clearly more athletic but also super sloppy with the ball in the first half. They were playing street ball and when forced to move into a half court set, they looked lost. I'm not sure what that says for The Mayor's chances at coaching in the NBA.

One thing this tournament has always done is expose which conferences are frauds and which ones are legit. Looking like the Big 12 has been running a ponzi scheme this entire season. Baylor and Iowa st both go down to #14 seeds. Texas, loaded with NBA players and favored despite being an 11, goes down to Butler. I would not be shocked if Kansas and Oregon go down today. I wouldn't be surprised if Oklahoma is the only Little 12 team standing after today and then they could go down quite easily on Sunday.

Great outright win for the Clones as a 5 point underdog in #23 Cincinnati's building. Blew a big 1st half lead and did what they had to do to close it out at the end. Huge matchup with a great Oklahoma team coming up.
