Two times now I have been in my car listening to a Sox preseason game. These two guys are BRUTAL! They don't shut up and make everything sound like they are explaining the theory of relativity.My God,they suck. I know others have complained but I guess now I've heard it with my own ears.

I'll take a Hawk and Stonepony anyday. I enjoy their banter. The Sox should simulcast them and save 2 salaries.

Pat Hughes is one of the best in the business. It's a shame he's been teamed with a collection of boobs his entire time in Chicago. I would love if they would just let him run a solo booth.

Ed Farmer would be fine on television where his meandering bullshit would come with pictures and not be a disservice to listeners who need to follow the game. Alas, Weird Jerry and his insistence on having as many ex-ballplayers as possible in the booth.

I had not either. Good. Always seemed odd. But if you can do it.

Lots of guys take half-innings or innings off. The Reds have a weird thing going where sometimes Jeff Brantley calls an inning solo.
