Do Muffins or Cupcakes get frosting!

Do you take Baths?

And you wonder why people switch to MVP, or just turn on a CD.

Yes, I know I can turn it off and I did.

On days I work from home, like today I listen to Mulligan and Hanley,Murph, Boers and Bernstein and I really don't think I have ever once got up and changed the station because the content was so boring on any of those shows that the noise from the radio just become a nusiance.

With North's shows I would say at least once a week I turn it off and many times don't even bother to turn it on becasue I know I am not missing anything.

I heard the Great Muffin Debate - and I too was baffled.

I heard the Bath with or without friends and wondered if Fred and Pat could actually fit in the 7 person hot tub?

I also flipped the switch - and missed that brilliant interview with a bad character actor - but I guess I can catch it in the upcoming CD's of great MN interviews.

Seriously, since when do muffins have frosting? Isn't that what differentiates a muffin and a cupcake. What a douche. I even had to flip it off during bob Legere, who I respect, because I could not handle any more Kyle orton drivel. The guy might be a good QB, but the team was entirely different in '05. An asinine comparison.

At or about the time of the bath discussion, I switched over to Mike and Mike, and was treated to a disturbing, homoerotic discussion of whether or not Greenberg should "break up" with Chad Pennington.

I suggest the following joint slogan for The Score and AM1000:

"Chicago Morning Sports Talk - Irrelevant, Inane, Disturbing and Homoerotic!"

I did have an Annie flashback this morning while driving and the continued fight about the Muffins.

very dangerous!

I tuned in this morning expecting a heavy dose of Bulls talk and related guests. Instead I get the Italian-American HOF rep. followed by the "Get your shine box" guy for 30 minutes.

Now I'll admit to be a fairly regular listener (pretty much all Score all the time when I'm in the office)...but I flipped to Waddle & Silvy after 5 minutes of this inane interview. Seriously - Why does North think the majority of his audience is entertained by these lame guests? Note to Mike -just because a musician or actor has a Chicago connection doesn't mean he's interesting. Rock...are you listening???

Yes, because Rock clearly has a large amount of input as to what guests Mike has on...

i didn't hear the show. however, i'm gessing that a cupcake is a muffin without frosting. thus, you put frosting on a muffin, since the cupcake already has frosting on it.

riveting

Let me also add "uninteresting." I drove in to work this morning, so I had the opportunity to listen for more than 10 minutes on the way to the train station. M&M's interaction is definitely on the femme side, at the opposite end of the spectrum from the "boo-yah" tone at the WWL. As for North, living proof that an education is invaluable. I know he has his listeners and his fans but but there really is only room for only one proud-to-be-an-idiot sports talk host. And sure, he got a shot in NYC to go national, which only further proved that point.

88 lines about 44 women never sounded better.
