Maybe someone can explain this to me. We have a player who by all accounts has been one of the best 2 or 3 linebackers in all of football since 2000. I have watched every game since I was about 6 (that would be the mid 80s and I know you are all happy for me). I dont think there is a Bear player that I think leaves it out on the field more than Urlacher. Does he get beat sometimes...sure. Who doesnt. Even Samuri had a bad game here or there. I am sure even the great Dick Butkus was less than stellar some days. I could not give a crap about how he treats the media. All I want to know is how he and the rest of the D plan on fixing the problems that have. Why is this a big deal? If you really want to hear the guy's thoughts, visit his blog. There are enough soundbites to go around. I think this has gotten blown out of proportion. I bet Urlacher is sitting at home laughing at this. His job is to stop running backs, not provide smart sound bites for talk show hosts.

#54, do you realize you're coming off as a real petulant D-bag in the Chicago media??? Upset with the treatment of your teammates? BS Lance Briggs and Tank Johnson were FAIRLY treated by Chicago's media based on their actions or their very own words. I don't see who else's treatment you would have a problem with.
