Yeah, I should call him "my guy" like Boers and Bernstein, except I actually have a guy on the ground.

Did your "Contact" notice him skulling chip shots all over Augusta?

My contact spoke to multiple people with knowledge and said Tiger still had major short game problems yesterday.

I'll get a second hand account Monday and Tuesday how things are looking if he actually sticks around to play the tournament. Not sure
he wants to embarrass himself in this event.

It really is unbelievable, considering how strong his short game once was.

So the new grinds aren't the problem?

I don't understand why any cares if Tiger is playing. He's 100% done and will never be relevant again on a PGA leaderboard. He was already 100% done when it came to Majors as far back as a few years ago, yet people refused to accept the writing on the wall.

Its time to start treating him like any other fringe PGA pro trying to make cuts.

Bubba won by 3 (i think?) strokes last year, and Sunday at the Masters was still plenty exciting. Unless Bubba or Rory just play perfect golf in two weeks (which is possible, but not likely), Sunday will have lots of drama and should make for great viewing.

people love to cheer greatness in sports, he dominated golf for many years.... deep down i think any sport fan wants to see him come back to form and dominate again.... regardless of how each year it seems less and less likely that will happen

Reading this again, I do not agree with the bold part. He will end up winning some limited field tournament in like 2 years.

I would be very surprised to see Tiger making the cut at Augusta.

I remember Jack doing an interview somewhere saying when he was in his heyday he would eliminate 80% of the golfers in any tournament straight out as far as competition because he knew that they knew deep down they had no chance of beating him when push came to shove. I feel Tiger used to be that way too. Now the other golfers know that whether it's thru injury, the fact that he can't take PEDs anymore , or that his game just sucks that they aren't afraid of him any longer so when he's in the hunt they don't buckle like they used to.

My dad is there everyday this week. I'll ask him how Tiger looks. I like Tiger because he is almost my age and I followed him and admired him way back in the junior ranks when I was competitive. I also understand how your life can spiral out of control and things can get tough. I hope he can pull it together and play well but he certainly doesn't have that killer look like Spieth and Bubba do. I'm rooting for Stricker who is a long shot but my hero playing Junior golf in Wisonsin.

A win for Tiger is simply to make the cut. To come out of nowhere and win would be a sports legend. If I were him I would market another way. I would start wearing a different color shirt for Nike to sell. Ad campaign that I won't wear red until I deserve it.

Very excite!

Tiger winning this thing would be one of the greatest sports things of all time.

I'm hoping he plays 4 competitive rounds.

The cut line is top 50 and ties, plus anybody within ten shots of the lead.

Anybody else watch the Drive, Putt and Chip thing yesterday? I caught a little bit of it, pretty cool to watch those kids out there.

 How is the course set up for lefties exactly? Bubba moves the ball every which way possible.

It sets up for lefties who can move it anywhere, like Phil and Bubba.

Jack has won the Masters as many times as every lefty ever.

I wasn't being 100% serious, just that the course sets up for Bubba's game. Since the increase in yardage in 2010, only the bombers have won....and hitting a fade around the corners is easier than a draw.

Anyways, I'm in a pool where you pick the winner (multi tiered) and I'm torn between Bubba and Day. Day will be one of the lower owned players out of a group with Rory, Bubba, Spieth, which is appeaing given his history.
