Throw in an autographed football and it's a deal.

Let's not go crazy here.

Tenn would be nuts to do this.

He's too busy complaining about last night's umps in the Cubs game to notice.

On a side note, who was the one who was chasing Martin around?

You should put together "A History of CSFMB."

To be far, it was pretty bad (for both teams really)

Agreed. I think both Winston and Mariota will be bust.

Not busts, but nothing great. Winston is a good QB,

I wouldn't do it but if you are of the mind to change then trying Mariota makes the same sense as Jay changing.

I think off field issues will be his downfall. Mariota is a system QB

I don't get the Mariota love. Apparently the Joey Harrington and Akili Smith memories fade fast.

Winstons biggest problem might be his head coach. I dont think either Winston or Mariota will be stars.

I don't want jay on the team anymore. If everybody is so down on mariota any chance he falls to 7 anyway?

There are only sure fire QBs in the NFL draft about once every 5 years, and you need the #1 pick for that which does not look to be in the Bears future. Therefore, you take Mariota and hope is he becomes that guy that everyone missed on, and if he isn't, you draft someone again in three years.

If you spend your time waiting to draft a QB you know will be great then you will likely never pick a QB. It would be great if the Bears could get the next Andrew Luck next year but I wouldn't hold your breath. The best they can do is play the first round QB lottery as soon as possible.

Id rather take a QB in a later round than someone from a school that has a repeated history of failed NFL QBs.

The odds are so low on those quarterbacks though. Tony Romo and Tom Brady are such rare commodities that you can't rely on it.

Mariota may suck but that is ok. He also has one of the best chances of being elite in the whole draft.

I think I'd put exactly ZERO stock into a schools history of success at a certain position when deciding whether to draft a player or not. Especially history from 15 years ago. I cannot imagine how that is relevant to the current player.
