Illinois State associate head coach Torrey Ward died in a plane crash near the Central Illinois Regional Airport in Bloomington, Illinois, early Tuesday morning, according to team center Reggie Lynch.

McClean County Sheriff Jon Sandage confirmed Tuesday afternoon that seven people died as the Cessna 414, returning from the Final Four in Indianapolis, crashed just short of the airport after midnight.

Yeah flying in one of these at night would be scary as shit, especially in bad weather. My brothers buddy is an airline pilot now but
back when he only had a few years of flight experience he took my dad and brother up in a small Cessna on a nice day and my
dad said he would never do it again, he was sweating bullets and scared as hell.

Flying in a 8 seater on my honeymoon in a storm is what started me down the path to never flying again land. Mom behind me was crying, her daughter was crying and throwing up and I was trying my hardest not to lose my freaking mind.
