I love watching Tiger struggle. He'll never catch Jack.

Five days ago, you said he was finished. Now that he is inside the cut line at a major, or "struggling", you say he won't catch Jack.

Your new nickname is "The Weather Vane". Whichever way the wind is blowing.

Tiger hasn't won a major since 2008. He's just a guy now. I used the word "finished" figuratively. Certainly he will play golf, but his days of competing for wins are over. He struggled today...& he will never catch my Jack.

He will need to shoot under par tomorrow to play the weekend. The cut line now stands at +2.

I understand how the cut works. It's not about whether or not Tiger makes the cut, it's how quickly Scorehead's stances change. It went from Tiger will never be in contention again, to he won't win four more majors, after one round where Tiger didn't embarrass himself.

He just birdied #1, and #2 is a gettable par 5.

Spieth is on the verge of running away with this thing. I know there is a lot of golf left to be played, but mercy he is just playing near perfect Augusta golf rigth now.

By the way, nobody in history has won four majors after their 39th birthday, so you aren't exactly going out on a limb here. This rivals the obvious predictions of Officer Fife in Elmhurst.

Tiger has barely played the last few years.

So, he suggested that Tiger, with all of his problems on and off the course, wouldn't win four majors after turning 36? Again, hardly going out on a limb.

Cut line is still +2. I figure it will be +3 or +4 when all is said and done.

31 years since Day 1 leader has won? Did I hear that right?

It's been done four times.

Craig Wood (1941)
Arnold Palmer (1960)
Jack Nicklaus (1972)
Raymond Floyd (1976)

Spieth just set a 36 hole record at the Masters (130).
