Also, when it's late in the period like that I don't see any reason to not keep your first PP unit out there longer.

Hey, I wound up getting the number of goals right, just got the distribution wrong!

The funny thing is that for all the talk of "knowing how to play in the playoffs," the Hawks scored all three second-period goals with a man in the box for Nashville in a game that had extremely ticky-tack officiating.

I've liked Darling more than Crawford for awhile now and I'm not anti-Crawford. I just didn't feel like bringing this up before because I didn't feel like deflecting any meatball accusations.

I'd start him Game 2 but if Crawford starts, which I expect to happen, I'm fine with that. Just keep him on a short leash though because there's a big white stud waiting to come back in.

Five more years at $6MM per year with a no-move clause (which may or may not apply to an expansion draft; it has not yet been tested under this CBA).

My dog has been looking at me funny and gave me a few growls in the last 45 minutes. She can't figure out why we are up this late.

Two assists, but tentative at times, and had a couple of blatant mishandles. It wasn't the best night of his life, and why would it be, but I certainly wouldn't say he sucked.

I want to see Cumiskey in for Rozsival next game. That first goal against was inexcusable, and you can't have a third pairing that's this limited after the marathon tonight. The sad thing is that Kyle Cumiskey really isn't that good. He's just not Rozsival.

I thought he was bad with the puck most of the night. And a little tentative. 2 assists. Yeah. Sometimes I think that stat is overrated. Some are better than others. Some don't take much skill. In my opinion. Same with goals.

That's a serious killer win for the Hawks. Perds have to feel like shit and they're gonna want to goon it up in the next game.
