Streaming a week early on youtube!

No one on this board would like this besides maybe Doug, and him only barely, and because he'll respect the guitars / writing.

Who the fuck is it?

Really fond memories of this album.

Did a cassette purge this weekend. This one stays.

I'm on a Burt Bacharach bender right now. He's a genius. It doesn't matter how old or young you are...His chord structure, melody, time signatures & phrasing are pure genius.

Trying Frank Zappa for something different. Don't think I have ever listened to an entire album from him.

Okay, here's one of my former bandmates. If you like Bacharach, you'll like him. He made one great record, Month of Sundays. My only criticism, and it's a small one, is that it's so derivative. But you know, who cares when it's beautiful. Kevin was a record collector and he wears his influences on his sleeve- Burt and Hal, Epic and Nikki, Alex Chilton, Nick Drake, etc. Our sensibilities are somewhat different. I never had any interest in polishing stuff. It's hard to believe we played together, but Kevin liked hardcore punk and garage band music too. It doesn't show here though:

I was blasting this the other day. I still love "Guiding Light" even though most people seem to hate it and think it has no place on the album.

I love this album.
Here's a pretty great Swervedriver cover of Television's Days.

I think this might be a mash-up of like 3 different things, (instrumental/vox/visuals)
but it sure is pretty fucking awesome. Stumbled upon it about an hour ago and can't stop watching it.
