This should be a can't miss weekend for the Bears. We've seen how those can end up. Still, I'm really looking forward to the intrigue of the next few days.

It's not official but my guy at 7 is Kevin White. My guy with a slight trade down is Bud Dupree.

I think Dupree may be gone even after a trade down. I would love if somehow Fowler was there. I know there's no chance.

perfectly understandable.

My son told me he wanted to go to the draft. I thought about the boredom associated with 5+ hours of sitting in that hall watching nothing. It is better on TV.

Many places have him slotted at 8 to the Falcons but it really seems like the Falcons would like to move up for a better talent.

And if they move Long to tackle then they have a set of book ends for the foreseeable future.

Remember back to when Jim Finks built the Bears into a contender through strong line play.

Long took a step backwards in development last year.

I'll go back to my Long arguments as Scherff is most likely a guard: the Bears signed their best performing guard in FA for moderate money. Good guards are available.
