Yeah. It's almost like they don't want their fans to watch these games.

This is bullshit. You mean to tell me with the NHL's partnership with NBC-owned channels, it can't be shown on another channel like ABC/ESPN does with the NBA playoffs? Imagine if the game went to overtime and Chicago fans could miss at least a period.

NHL programming people are remedial ... probably quota hires.

Good start for the Hawks. 8 minutes gone and zero shots on goal for the Wild.

Kane needs to shoot it instead of the fancy pass, wasted a fine play by Richards.

Where the hell have you been, mister?

Been busy...would have grabbed the computer for Friday night's game, but I got drunk instead.

Other than that, been out and about a lot. The bored is blocked at work, and posting from my phone is a pain in the ass.

I haven't been around much, but I really like seeing Timmonen and Roszival split between Keith and Seabrook...hides their terrible-ness a little. Also glad to not see fuckhead Versteeg on the ice.

I'd look for Minnesota to come out playing as conservatively as possible this time. Obviously, the speed game didn't work for them. God forbid Crawford gives one up early; they'll squat on a one-goal lead all night if they have to. Gotta strike first and early again before they can get into a trap/shell and stay there.

Yes, as expected, here we are. The Wild are dictating the terms of this game, and the term I'd use is "charcoal-grilled turdburger." Has Crawford been good? I dunno! Nothing fucking happened.

It was not a bad period though. Just would have liked to score.

Do you enjoy these games or are they torture for you?

No, it wasn't bad. Just really really boring. It's hard to assess a period like that when so much of it was just Minnesota gumming up the works. I wouldn't call it a good period for them; all they did was take 20 minutes off the clock.

Good Gravy. We knew going in this was going to be a rough series. I thought the slowed MN down, so good job there. Do you want or expect them to score 2 every time and allow nothing?
