Holy shit. This 76ers starting lineup sucks. With this being the home opener and the Bulls being fresh this should be a 20 point win for the Bulls.

Yeah. He's looked that way for some time. But that SOB is gonna live to 100. He'll be doing the Bulls games until then too.

my team's not very good...so why aren't the bulls pounding them? andre miller's having a good game.

some sloppy basketball in the first half...hope the second half's better.

you gotta love ben gordon. marksman.

Andre Miller is better than I gave credit. Bulls will still win by 12 at least if not 20.

He's playing great.

IMO, his talent is incredible. I always worry about moving him, because he so often shows flashes of being able to dominate a game.

Tyrus Thomas has played very well this first half; if he can play anything like this for most of the season, the Bulls will be in good shape.

he definitely can grow, and with the way skiles develops players, i think he will be great. i think people have gotten on him too quickly. he only played one year of college, he's raw...he's going to learn.

The Bulls are playing mediocre basketball against a mediocre team. I'm wondering why I picked these guys to win 55 games.

So much for my easy win prediction. We're gonna have to battle this one out.

maybe skiles needs to brainwash the bulls into thinking every quarter is the 4th

amazing, the sixers played some D. but man what a sloppy game...

tyrus thomas was awesome tonight, but didn't have a lot of help. nocioni might have been better off in some more minutes. he was producing. and he's a headache for whoever he's defending.

take it easy. and give a little credit... :?

the raptors beat the sixers by less than 10 points, then routed the nets by almost 40, and the nets beat the bulls. the mavericks lost to atlanta.

the season is an infant right now. i still think the bulls will gel, and i don't think bringing kobe's gonna save the season or anything.

the circus trip however...doesn't look enticing at this point.

To many turnovers, beside Thomas and Gordon, the rest of the team shot like 30%.

This is a ok team in a weak east, 3rd place, 5th seed, first round and out.

You can't start every year out this way. The Bulls have no inside presence, and as Stacey King said, teams have scouted the Bulls and know to just attack the basket.

Hinrich is a POS. Enough with the technicals. The refs hate your guts and are just looking to "T" you up.

doesn't matter how you start it's how you finish, and i'm not saying the bulls should be proud right now or anything. i wonder if the contract/kobe stuff IS affecting them. the post game guys talked a bit about that. kendall gill thinks so. i don't know.

you're right about hinrich though. he needs to shut his mouth and play. he whines WAY too much, and is digging himself a hole with his rep.

I'm not going to panic. It sucks to start off 0-2, and to lose your home opener to a bad team, but this is a good team. I don't know if they are distracted by the Kobe fiasco, not ready to open the season, or just not playing well, but they will get this straightened out.

Agreed 100%. I thought they would take care of business tonight, as did many people, but shit happens. Dallas started 0-4 last year and they finished grea...nevermind bad example, but the point is the start doesnt matter nearly as much as the finish, as Zach said.

Congrats Zach on your team's win.

Bulls fans are going to have to accept another season where they have to battle back, especially when you consider the West Coast trip looming. I haven't looked to see which teams they play on it, but it hasn't really mattered in the past. Let's just get through that trip, hopefully get things going soon, and we'll be fine.

only 4 teams this year. Phoenix, both LA teams, and Denver. Then after that they go @ NY and @ Tor. You gotta be happy with 3-3 over those 6.

I'd take 3-3, but am thinking 2-4. Those are going to be tough games, those LA games will go either way, and Denver is always tough at home. I'm hoping for a split out West, but I'm assuming 1-3, and then a split out East.

i'll take what i can get...i'm looking probably a 30-35 win team with that lineup. but they did play good defense last night, and andre miller was the man.

it's still weird looking at your avatar that you're a bulls fan. i keep expecting you to be a bucks fan or something :P

Yeah, I know its weird, but I actually dont even like Wisconsin teams all that much. Dont give a shit about the Brewers, dislike the Bucks, and U of Wisconsin does nothing for me.

Speaking of which.. how does one become a fan of a New Orleans football team, Philadelphia basketball team, and Chicago baseball team?

My dad and all of his family is all from Chalmette, right outside of New Orleans. He grew up there; he was born in Chicago, his mother is from Chicago, and born and raised Cubs fan. But he was actually born on the south side, and was more of a Sox fan but loved Wrigley field so he has a nostalgic thing for the Cubs.

My mom's family is all from Philadelphia, and that's where I was born. But we've lived all over the country. Upstate NY, Georgia, Missouri, Illinois, Delaware. Actually I was a Mets and Knicks fan when I was a little kid, but when we moved away from NY I sort of lost that (and my accent), and when we moved to Illinois and Dad took me to Cubs and Sox games, I found a fondness more for Wrigley and the Cubs than the Sox (whom I like, but can't say I'm a fan of).

When we moved back to the East Coast in the mid 90's I watched a lot of Sixers basketball, and really got into them when they drafted Allen Iverson and have been a fan ever since. I also became a fan of the Flyers then.

So it's a long story, I know, but...what can I say...I'm not really "from" anywhere, so I can't have a hometown team really. Although if the Saints ever do leave NO which I still think is a possibility, I'd probably be an Eagles fan (after a few years of hiatus most likely) because that's the other team I watched a lot growing up.
