Hawks never play well in Minnesota. I need a see a spirited effort before crowning the Hawks. They're due for a deadass effort.

Still waiting for that deadass effort. You're going to wait for a very long time.

Are you ready to crown them yet?

People who complain about Ovechkin's style forfeit their right to complain about the fact that NHL teams barely score 220 goals a season now.

I appreciate hockey players like Toews who are great in every aspect of the game. Ovechkin is a selfish player who only cares about scoring goals. He's a fucking dog defensively & is never in a hurry to get back. He's an easy guy to dislike.

So what? It's not a fucking sausage factory; let a supremely talented goal-scorer score goals. Not everyone has to be a good solid two-way player who gets pucks deep. Go figure it's Barry Trotz of all people who has allowed Alex Ovechkin to play to his strengths.

One more game to go. Get out the brooms Hawks fans. The Wild are a dead ass beaten team.

I told you gays that once the playoffs started, no one would be able to beat the Hawks. I would feel better though if Calgary would beat Anaheim.

In parts other than Chicago they do actually talk a lot of hockey on radio. They do not act as if it is not popular.

Yes, and I won't be. Did you forget the the 6-2 and 5-2 ass whippings the Preds gave the Hawks?

String together 4 solid efforts would be a novel concept for this year's Hawks.

However, I'm extremely pleased the Wild secondary scorers have hung up the "not interested" sign this series. Very much appreciated.

Yeah, Thomas Vanek hasn't done shit this series and they're still wasting a roster spot on Matt Cooke.

I think the lesson learned here is to not bring ex-Sabres players onto your team.

To be fair, Pominville has been very good for them since he arrived, but Vanek has been a biblical plague to his last three teams, and that only goes back like 18 months. All those great mid-decade Sabres really hit the wall one after another: first Drury, now Vanek and Briere, next will be Ryan Miller. Brian Campbell may have fallen apart but no one would know because lol Florida.

CH has blasted Toews quite a few times this season. I can't imagine how badly he'd want to strangle Mikko Koivu if he was a Wild fan.

Yeah, I'm still not entirely sure what it is Mikko Koivu does. I like how every time there's a closeup of Zach Parise, all the announcers say the same spiel about "he may not be wearing the C, but in a lot of ways he's just as much the heart and soul of this team," which is professional broadcaster code for "I'm still not entirely sure what it is Mikko Koivu does."

Some of that may have been true in the past, but its definitely not true this year. He's been backchecking and helping out defensively all season. He also hits more than any superstar in the NHL.

I've turned around in that the Hawks will likely win the division...so yes, I admittedly have windsocked...glad it appears I was wrong.

Do I believe they can win the cup? I am also still anticipating a dead-assed effort game where we get beat. I will believe they have officially woken up if they put their foot on their throat and win tonight.

They can beat whomever comes out of the East. I think Anaheim is the biggest threat.

Well yea...it is Minnesota so Hockey is huge there. Hell, the Gophers Womens Hockey team actually has their own ice rink seperate from the Men. Everyone here has a boat and skates.

Anaheim is not a threat. Been saying it for 3 years now and adding Kesler doesn't change that. The Hawks are going back to the SCF unless they pull an epic choke job vs Minny or Kane dies.

This.

This is the best year of his career in the 2 way department. He's playing excellent hockey.

I keep saying their depth blows goats but then night after night I see whoever the fuck Matt Beleskey is on the box score. or Kyle Palmieri, or Richard Rakell, or Patrick Maroon. They seem to be the Kings with less depth but more star power. Corey Perry has been unstoppable this spring.

Yea, Vanek has been garbage, same with Suter, Pomminville & Koivu. Watching Koivu at the dot has been hilarious. He had his clock cleaned on faceoffs. But thats Hockey baby. Many teams play great during the season then they go to shit in the playoffs. Nashville, St. Louis, Minnesota are all great regular season teams who have no clue how to play playoff Hockey. They don't know how to close & win games that matter.

I haven't really been down on them this year. I learned after their playoff performance last year, I guess. I get mad from time to time when I look forward to watching games in the regular season and they are sloppy and lazy. They play like they are capable of during the playoffs most of the time. I am sad/scared of the time when they don't have the talent, are too old, or whatever. I just don't know when that will be.

These late games are bs, darko.
