the bears 4th round pick in 2013 is considered not worth one of the 90 available roster spots.

emery hit homeruns with alshon and long... but the rest of his 3 drafts appear to be pretty much terrible

This is about having someone in the house that knows what an NFL player looks like

I was surprised when Ginger reported this. At least the new regime is cleaning house quickly.

Doing him a solid, he is not a fit for a 3-4 at all and gives him plenty of time to sign on somewhere else.

Agreed. Nice to see as well as he seems like a pretty good kid.

Yeah he's one of the good ones. Used to listen when he would do the Holmes show.

Did you happen to see Chris Rock's appearance on Bryant Gumbel's show?

If so, I would like to hear your take, maybe in the MLB section.

Saw it, don't fully disagree with it. It's hard damned work to get kids consistently out & good enough to retain interest. Funny thing is that I really don't think outsiders (i.e. non-baseball fans) realize the long term benefits. Just today, my oldest turns 18 & his Twitter timeline is filled with crap from teammates he's had since 10 yo....all of whom have earned/are earning college scholarship money.

But I'll give you my opinion at the next Friday meeting.
