Crawford sucks.

He's supposed to make a difference. The whole I cant play in front of the net 82 games a year because its too hard on my body but wait till the playoffs isn't working. He contributes absolutely zilch on the ice. Theres plenty of guys not producing ( Hossa, Sharp) but he's right there with them. Im sick of his no compete.

Thats the thing. No matter how much we rag on them, they fucking refuse to go out like little bitches. I cant believe they're even in this series considering its basically 4 defensemen and 4 forwards who are the only ones doing anything. Anaheim is supposed to be great but they can barely beat a team thats getting zero production from 60% of the roster. Blackhawks know how to play and you have to kill these fuckers before they give up.

Suck is a bit strong. The weakest part of Crawford's game is his lack of ability to move laterally. He's really slow side to side. He also has some odd techniques that are unique to him. I don't think Cro will finish his career in Chicago. He'll be gone before his contract is up.

One goal last night was on him. You see the shit Andersen gave up? They didnt come out ready to play. Thats why they lost. Not because of Crawford. He's .917 save % for this series, the great Frederick Andersen is .924 . Blame the team in front of him, not him.

It took being down 3-0 in a Game 5 for the Hawks to finally play with any type of urgency. While the Ducks have been forechecking all series and using their dmen to keep the cycle alive, the Hawks have just been sitting back. Once they went down 3-0, something clicked in and they started playing hockey like we know they can. Yet, eventhough they started playing strong, they still didn't really do anything. While they dominated possession and shots, they didn't have many scoring chances. It took an epic one timer and Andersen literally shitting in his crease twice for the Hawks to tie the game up.

If I were to guess, I'd say the Hawks come out with that same type of urgency and forecheck in Game 6 and win it but I don't see them winning two in a row. I can see them leading 2-0 in Game 7 before losing in OT just like last year.

You can't scratch Bickell. There's literally no one left. You can't scratch him for Versteeg for obvious reasons. You could scratch him for Nordstrom, I guess. He won't do anything good either but at least he won't fuck everything up for you.

As said previously, game 5 was an absolute pile of shit on the whole team. To start the game, the defense couldn’t get out of the zone and kept turning the puck over. Crawford didn’t do anything to help himself. They couldn’t find a shot on goal to save their lives. It truly was a collective failure.

I underestimated the Ducks. Despite the current standings, I still feel this Blackhawks team should have won this series in 5, but the Ducks have continued to absolutely punch the Hawks in the face and they keep taking it.

I really don’t know where this goes, but my faith is dwindling. Last year, the Kings were the better team. This year the Hawks are flat out giving it away on a silver platter. I have some hope left, but not much.

Wd, the Hawks have far exceeded my expectations. Throughout the year they looked lackluster and yet found a way to win. But night in and out, this did not look like the same team we were used to seeing. Their power play is inconsistent to bad, puck control is no longer a strength, and they routinely get out shot. Frankly, Crawford's play has been the big reason the Hawks were successful this year.

I have been wrong about Crawford. I thought his contract was a waste of money. On balance, he has been very good this year. He still has that shaky look to him, but very few goalies look good all the time.

Yeah, and Jeff Carter was offside when he scored in game 7 last year. Refs weren't going to make a TMMOTI call unless it was egregious, which this wasn't.

My hunch is that with New York forcing a game 7, Chicago will not, giving rise to annoying Rangers fans talking about how the Rangers did what the Hawks couldn't and subjecting us to more boring Rangers games.
