Why do you hate the Blacks? CH's negativity here is a prerequisite for a win.

Hawks are overdue for an elimination-game shitkicking. They've only been knocked out in less than game 7 sudden death by two teams under Q/Toews/Kane: the '09 Red Wings and the '12 Coyotes. With all this rhetoric about how you can never count the Hawks out and the Rangers winning last night, the universe feels like it's setting everything up for the Hawks to lay a big egg. My guess is they give up the first goal in the first five minutes and never lead or tie, but don't let the floodgates open until the third, ensuring that we all sit through ~45 minutes of frustrating suckage before we can find something better to do with our time.

I'd love to be wrong but obviously we're up against the wrong side of one of the greatest playoff runs in history here. 11-3 with no regulation losses is absurd and they show no signs of tiring.

Why the fuck should the Rangers outcome have any bearing on tonight's game????????

It has no bearing. It's just a weird feeling.

Not only do I think they'll win, I'd be shocked if they didn't have at least a 2 goal lead after the 1st period.

I've got Kaner for a hat trick tonight.

If and I am not saying definitively CH is simply a troll then the bandwagon thread is the place to be. Not in gay land.

Hawks dominate tonight and run the Ducks goalie.

They'd better, or the Getzlaf/Perry vs. Toews/Kane debate is settled once and for all. Two Cups each, better regular-season producers, beat Toews and Kane head-to-head. I don't want that.

C'mon man. The debate will be settled when all the players are no longer active.

The Hawks know there is no time to sleep thru a period.

So glad Timmonen is out of the lineup.

You know if we where sitting in a local pub. You would be sitting all alone at the end of the bar and no one would be buying you drinks. At this point the rest of us would be real close to either kicking your ass or having the bartender kick your ass out to give us some peace and quiet so we could enjoy the game.

In certain places populated by normal people this would be a very accurate description of what would take place.

It's dumb, and he's done it before, but still a nice shoutout to Pat Foley by Doc with the "treetirtytree".

If the Hawks had played like this during the last two games, it would not be an elimination game for them.
