The thing is to me at least and going back to last year, if the kings and Ducks are so great and that much better than the Blackhawks, why did it take the Kings until ot of a game 7 and in all likelihood take the Ducks to a game 7 to beat them? Considering how close this series is and the Kings series was, isn't it logical to conclude that at the every least the Blackhawks are as good and as deserving of praise as either of those 2 other teams?

I know the Hawks are playing scared/trying to score again. But they gotta be gassed. Maybe slow it down and cycle the puck in the d-zone a few times instead of trying to match the Ducks pace.

I'm an NHL fan in general these days, but the Hawks are still #1. Jets and Islanders are tied for #2. Phoenix is #30. I still love the Hawks, but I've watched the rest of the league really catch up to them. That teams have figured out how to synthesize possession control with a punishing forecheck really changes the complexion of the West for the Hawks going forward. Like I've said about the Bulls, there's always room for a team to zig when everyone else zags, but watching teams like the Kings do what the Hawks are built to do plus physicality makes me nervous.
