Per Pax via KC, "Some" players didnt endorse Thibbs return in their exit interviews for the summer.....

Hmmmmmmm? Who could that be?............and while the lists of issues that GarPax and Thibbs fight about is a long one....this guy is near the top, as this is one of the professional issues between them.

I think Gasol and Thibs got along as the season went on. They seemed to be saying the same things late in the season.

McDermott shouldn't have any say about anything. How would he know what a good NBA coach should be? Since it was a fait accompli he was fired already McDermott likely said, "Oh, I like him just fine. I can adapt to any coach."

PAx traded up for Dougie...dont forget.

Pax could have led the witness "You dont like him....do you?"

LOL, well in that case yes, he would have said, "well, now that you mention it, there were a few issues I think could've been managed better......"

drose, without a doubt was one of them. i posted this after his last sideline interview after game 6. he was clearly not happy with thibs and had very few words about the guy, when at the same time had lots of positive words for his teammates.

Still just shitty that Pax and Gar even need to let this out....and I am 100% sure, a request was made to both of them to STOP the media "Leaks"

Ike?

If you had $9 mill left to be paid....could they say ANYTHING about you that would get you to walk away from it?

Think Thibbs is going to go cry because Dougie didnt like him and hand in his resignation?

"I don't mind him as a coach" has to be the weakest endorsement ever. Sounds like something LeBron might say, but that's because LeBron IS the actual coach (at least in Bernstein's opinion).
