Well, yeah, they aren't adults and they suck as a front office. The whole way they handled this thing was amateur hour, they spent the last 2 or so years waging war on Thibs via their media toadies, planted stories and all that. They even tried to fuck with him through Derrick Rose's injury status. They did their best to ruin his reputation and undermine him every step of the way. They wanted a puppet and Thibs certainly wasn't that.

Prediction......Thibs wins a ring as a HC before the Bulls get back to the finals.

I just read a tweet that said they have security there waiting to escort him out of the building.

Diplomatic? You call that diplomatic? He accused Thibodeau of insubordination and basically said the entire "team culture" collapsed because of him. Far worse coaches have gotten far kinder press releases than "this guy can't work with anyone and was actively sabotaging us." Reinsdorf sucks, Bernstein sucks.

I actually think there's merit to both sides, i.e. that Paxson has done a good job and so has Thibodeau and there are simple philosophical differences. I understand long time guy's viewpoint and I don't think he's wrong. Where the Bulls (and seemingly all Reinsdorf organizations) lose me is that everything seems so goddamn personal with these guys. It's all about perceived slights. It seems that Reinsdorf loves to surround himself with guys with ultra-thin skin. Whether it's Kenny, Ozzie, Thibs, Paxson, etc. These goofs are all walking hard-ons. Why can't it just be a simple, "Hey, shit isn't working out, we've got to go separate ways", professional, shake hands? It's always got to end with somebody choking someone with his tie or going nuts on Twitter.
