That's alot of conditions to put on your request. Why don't you also add: while playing for the Minnesota Vikings in 2007, went to college at Oklahoma, is from Texas, is 6'1" tall...?

because none of those things has any bearing on how good a player is. All the things I put in did.

Lighten up Francis.

You haven't watched many San Diego games over the past few years. Come on FF. You're usually a bit more level headed than this.

I have been watching alot of SD games. I never said LT doesnt cut back across the field, he just doesnt do it as often/with as much ease as AP. Usually when he bounces to the outside, he tries to outrun everyone or maybe make one quick cut, but either way he usually stays on that side of the field.

We just plain disagree I guess. If you are only saying 2007, ok. But over the course of LT's career? That's maybe the dumbest statement you ever made on this board. LT did it quite often in his career and did make it look easy. Good God. It drives me nuts I have to argue against you with me being an Peterson fan, but you've lost it today dude.

Whats funny in my eyes about this is I have defended LT countless times in the past 5-7 years as being the best RB in football to alot of my friends who thought it was Shaun Alexander, Priest Holmes, etc.

That's great, but I still think you are on acid with that comment as does just about everyone else on this board.

well I dont know what to tell you, Ive stated many, many reasons why I think AP is better. You guys disagree. Luckily for us we get to watch both of these guys the rest of the year and hopefully many more years.

Adrian Peterson and Ladainian Tomlinson are both pretty good running backs. ok?

 Now don't be getting all mad at me FF. You have a strong reputation for craving the last word. Did you hope with that last post I'd stop discussing this with you? You're nuts on this. You're absolutely trippin' on some crazy shit today. You're all over the place. Your reputation is falling. People are questioning your sanity. Keeping Score is going to your home and make sure you are ok. cooler will post some pics to ease your tension. Coast will give you a couple of plays for tonight's game. Everything will be fine FavreFan. Get some sleep and come back tomorrow.

Within two seconds, I thought of two examples from the Bear game of guys bringing him down one on one. Peanut Tillman on the outside WHILE SHEDDING A BLOCKER, and Lance Briggs on the play right before the game winning field goal that went for a 4 yard loss.
I think he's good, but stop making ridiculous statements like this just to try and make your point.

Turn on any sports radio show in the country or any sports show on tv, or any sports section of the newspaper. I am defininitely not the only one saying AP is better, and given their respective bodies of work so far this season, I cant fathom how you guys think its insanity to say AP is better.

Thank you. Somehow I missed the most exaggerated statement in his entire argument.

If Adrian Peterson continues the dominance expressed in this thread, he has a chance to be better than Bob Sanders.

That should take care of both Favre Fan and Woodridge Ryan.

We are breaking down some of your specific exaggerated supporting sentences. They're just crap filler that somehow you think makes perfect sense. If you look back I didn't necessarily say who I think the best is right now. I told you who I would take for 2008 and who I would take from '08 to 2011. I'd take LT simply because I trust him more at this point still. You're arguing with an unbiased, level-headed Adrian Peterson fan.

As for "The Final Word," I would say there's something to it when three people get a kick of how you play "the last word" constantly. I'd say at least 20 other posters would agree that you go overboard on your last word movement. I find it funny. That's why I keep posting on this. I just don't think you can resist. And all of us continue to laugh. Thanks for putting a smile on our faces this afternoon.

Man, I hope that comment isn't as exaggerated as LT has never had a cut or move that has looked so easy as that of AP's in his NFL career ever.

no problem. Im not sure why its so funny that I respond to your posts when you continue to respond to mine. It has nothing to do with craving the last word, when I see something I that I want to respond to, I do, but if it continues to make all you guys laugh I dont necessarily have a problem with it.

As for You're arguing with an unbiased, level-headed Adrian Peterson fan thats simply not true. I dont necessarily like him, I hate the Vikings more than any professional franchise, and I dont care either way about OU grads. Im going off what I have seen so far from him. Believe it or not, I am being objective, Im just going from what I have seen this whole season, its not like he plays for the Packers. When GB played SD earlier this year, I was really worried about LT, but also really worried about their pass rush, Gates, and even Rivers. This week, Im terrified the Vikings will give AP the ball 25 times and it will result in 150-200 yards, 2 TDs, and a Vikings win. Maybe its a fluke so far and AP will come down to earth, LT will step it up and prove why hes been the best RB in football the past 5 years, and all will be right in the football world...but I doubt it.

lol matt you're dumb as hell for thinking AP is better than LT. He has a LONG way to go before you can compare him to LT, LJ, or even Stephen Jackson(when healthy).

You can pick either LT or AP to start for your team Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, which one do you give the ball to 25 to 30 times this Sunday against the Pack?

Considering I want the Packers to win I would give it to LT. Its really close, and LT is for sure the man, but AP is just a little bit better right now in my opinion.
