Did a single fan complain about the "outdated" video screens?

i'm a season ticket holder and when they asked for my feedback on the soldier field game day experience one of my comments was that they should replace the old shitty videoboards. I was glad to see that they were making this change.

now if I could only get a damn data signal during the game! :)

Didn't the screens have like dead spots, etc? Seems like they had to be replaced.

No, but a good clear replay when you are at the game is very nice.

Before switching to Field Turf, I'd love to hear from Roger Boassard himself and why their playing surface is so shitty. If the Sodfather himself says that it's elevation is too low or it's too close to the lake...whatever...then I'm fine with Field Turf.

it really is inexcusable in it's current state.

They have been formatting HD videos and showing them on the screens for 5 or more years.....lol

When the NEW Soldier Field has retrofitted, I went to the first game, it was terrible. Everything I saw was cheap and the low end of every material available. I didnt go into the Cadillac Club, but the high end 10% of the seats doesnt represent the stadium.

Here we are 12 years later, smallest stadium in the NFL, rented from the park district.

While I have yelled for a Dome, this is something George should begin talking to Rahm about. Just TALKING would be a step the McCaskeys have never taken....

Let me add, I appreciate what George is trying to do.....get into the modern NFL.....but while I appreciate his desire to do so and I see him trying, he still needs to do it.

RPB gets credit for getting that one rolling... "Field turf also does NOT stop the onset of aging."

spmack had this to say in 2012: "It was one of the worst threads ever....I'm sure there are a few posts here in which I state this."
then in 2015: "This thread wasn't so bad."

spmack, who you crappin'?

No, you must re-record the exact same segment intro but in a higher audio quality to support streaming!!!!
