Whenever Kane wants to show up, that'd be terrific.

Well, again I'm not too upset; Hawks beat themselves more than the Bolts beat them. Cut out the dumbass Sharp penalties and the bad Crawford goal and we're looking at a different outcome.

Really needed this one to inoculate against Tampa's road magic. Crawford was horrible. Sharp was horrible. Toews and Kane were invisible. Palat-Johnson-Kucherov line ran roughshod.

I was more upset with Oduya tonight, as "soft Oduya" showed up instead of "competant Oduya"; still I see either 5 or 26 sitting in game 3 and TVR in.

3 shot attempts for Kane, 1 blocked, 2 missed. Maybe bigfan was on to something.

Bolts looked energetic and relaxed. Blacks looked tired and tight. Maybe too much Ybor. Luckily Chicago's bar scene bores them at this point.

That was a very depressing loss. They could have won. The top 2 lines showing up would have probably helped their chances to win. At least all the cheap fucks in the lawn chairs can celebrate in the parking lot.

This one is more on Toews and Kane than Crawford. Although Crawford let in 2 soft ones. If not soft, certainly ones some goalies would have got.

Crawford lets in a shit goal.

Sharp gets back to back penalties.

Starting goalie goes out with the hershey squirts and you can't fucking score against a cold backup.

Gave this game away.

Aren't the top 2 lines always a little neutralized in a couple games during the playoffs and finals?

oduya is a boob and I can't stand him.

Sharp, ugh.

Not real happy with 2 of the goals Crawford gave up. They had a montage during the 2nd intermission of him just not knowing where the puck is. He has great games, carries the team some games. I think he should have won the conn smythe in 2013. He frustrates the fuck out of me. Tonight was a great example of why I'm not a fan.

For God sakes, have you Gays learned nothing from watching the Hawks for the last 6 years? No need to panic. Before the cup series started, everyone said that the goal was to split the first 2 games in Tampa. The Hawks did that. You alarmists who are on the ledge are slow learners. It is very difficult to sweep a team in the SC Final. The Hawks are fine coming home 1-1. The Hawks have the better team, talent, & head coach. R E L A X.

I think they'll be foine. Preds play tough but thought we could beat them. I wasn't worried about the wild. I was worried about the Ducks. I think they will beat the lightning. I still get mad but enjoy the hell out of the games. Except for the times they don't show up. Those piss me off.

No panic. I know they've got this. Just commenting on why they lost this one. I wasn't even upset after this loss.

You can not panic while still talking about how they lost this one.

Surprised you didnt rip Cro. Tonight is the night he actually deserves it. He had a bad night. I don't understand why he wont protect the short side post. I expect him to stand on his head in game 3. I wasn't worried about the Preds, Wild or Ducks & I'm not worried about the Bolts.

I'm more annoyed than worried. They could have won this game. It was sitting there for them and they gave it up.

Think of it this way...how many games have the Hawks won this way? How many games have the Hawks won when they were outplayed? Many. While I expected the Hawks to score 2 more goals to win the game, Tampa is a good team & was at home, so no big deal. Hawks now have home ice & I expect them to play very well the next 2 games.
I'm not sure what happened to Bishop tonight, maybe he had the green apple quick steps, who knows, but if he's injured, the Hawks could roll.

How I feel about him does not change from game to game. They are not supported or invalidated from game to game. He makes great saves at times he's also so technically unsound at times. He is anticipatory, often does not see the puck, and I think he is lucky rather than skilled. He's the equivalent of Lovie Smith but I don't hate him as much as I hated lovie. It's hard to explain.
