All goalies are anticipatory. Lucky is a stupid way of saying he's positionally sound.

Crow is fine. He had 1 bad goal? Crazy! The criticism is unwarranted.

By the way, I'm very impressed with Tampa Bay. They're fast and skilled. Young team that's gonna be good for years. This isn't their last Stanley Cup appearance.

But the Hawks still got this.

2. the second and the third. He goes down into a butterfly too early and too often. It leaves him not in position or he loses sight of the puck. He did it the other night. He is not the equivalent of other elite goalies even if he has more wins or championships.

He won game 1 for them and contributed to losing game 2. He isn't going to stand on his head every game. They should have scored at least 5 tonight.

That's my point. I don't need him to stand on his head. It's great when he does but I'd be happier if he blocked what he should and goals he let in you say okay that happens or that was amazing. He fantastic and he's crap at the same time.

I hear what you are saying but if that held true we are probably sitting 1-1 with a win tonight and a loss in game 1. All I can hope for is none of that 1st period 3 goal nonsense....even though they have come back from it both times.

Yeah we'd have the same record. He was great the other night and shit tonight. I'd prefer losing the other night and winning tonight. He's lucky the people in front of him score too and we have stars on the team. I like to know what I have and what I'm getting. He pulls through much of the time but I don't like it. I kinda wonder what his teammates think.

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate Ryan Callahan? I whine about Toews being over-loved because of where he was born, but Toews is a Hall of Famer. Callahan with the Rangers, good lord, you'd think he was fucking Mike Eruzione because he was a captain in New York who was born in the United States. Talk about bullshit "leadership"! If he weren't American, no one would have cared about him. He's a third-line center, who gives a fuck.

He has two teammates that redirected shots past him and this is somehow his fault?

The supposed "elite" goalie in the playoffs is sitting his ass at home after getting 6 goals hung on him twice by these Lightning. Ill take Crawford anyway in big games over anyone in the league.

No matter who is the goalie Spaulding is going to bitch about them.

If she were watching some of the more "elite" goalies every night she would bitch about them too.

The Hawks are fine. would have been nice to won that one last night, but a split on the road is what you want. They got that.

Surprised you didnt rip Cro. Tonight is the night he actually deserves it. He had a bad night. I don't understand why he wont protect the short side post. I expect him to stand on his head in game 3. I wasn't worried about the Preds, Wild or Ducks & I'm not worried about the Bolts.

How I feel about him does not change from game to game. They are not supported or invalidated from game to game. He makes great saves at times he's also so technically unsound at times. He is anticipatory, often does not see the puck, and I think he is lucky rather than skilled. He's the equivalent of Lovie Smith but I don't hate him as much as I hated lovie. It's hard to explain.

Dat's xactly right.

I dont think that you watch Hockey games other than the Blackhawks.

Carey Price had one of the best seasons a goaltender has ever had and the Lightning carved him up like a Christmas goose. Crawford was frustrating last night but has been acquitting himself quite well, considering.

I agree. I fully expect Corey to have another fantasic game this series. It doesn't change anything for me. I'm just not a fan of his.

Looks like the Captain and Kaner line is going to be broken up, Bickell might return and TVR will probably play.

Going back to Saad-Toews-Hossa would be fine by me. That line has served us well. I don't know what went wrong that Toews and Kane have been such useless turds together.

I am surprised Kaner has not done more in this wide open series and he is my guy.

He has a way of getting hot as the series goes on and as they need him more. No way he gets shut down for an entire series.

 I aint the one talking out of my ass. You are. You have not liked a Hawk goaltender since you started posted about hockey. It does not matter who is our goalie, you are going to bitch about him.

This whole post was confusing. If he wasn't good or great why would you like that?
