RFDC says "No matter who is the goalie Spaulding is going to bitch about them.

If she were watching some of the more "elite" goalies every night she would bitch about them too. "

I said it's not true. 2008-2009 I did not hate Khabibulin. I didn't think he was great but I didn't hate him. I did not hate or bitch about Niemi from 2009-2010. I do believe RFDC was talking out of his ass. He thinks I irrationally hate everybody willy nilly for no reason. I don't. I don't like Crawford and I have my reasons. People may not agree with them but to say oh I just hate him and discount any reasons no matter how trivial someone finds them is not really fair to me.

I never said you irrationally hate everyone.

The fact remains you have bitched about every goalie you have mentioned.

You may have actually liked Niemi and Khabi more than Crawford (as stupid as that is since Crawford is 3 times the goalie either of those guys ever were) but don't sit there and pretend you did not bitch about them.

You did. You bitched about Niemi several times en route to the Cup.

Maybe if he had a bad game, sure. I don't remember anything close to what I say about Crawford because in general I liked Niemi and the job he did. You constantly point out that I hate stuff or I'm a negative nancy.

Crawford has been much better than Niemi. Khabibulin was probably better than both in his prime, but said prime coincides with the dead puck era, so who's to say. What I remember most about Khabibulin in Chicago was his tendency to get injured in the home stretch because he couldn't be arsed to pack up and move in a trade.

I think the hate for Crow comes from his ceiling being so high at times and the expectations that come along with that. He's usually pretty good and sometimes he is out of his mind good. You can't expect that every time out. If you do then you will get disappointed from time to time just like last night.

I have often wondered if he is luded out of his mind some nights. It would help to slow the puck down and dear god does he sound distant and zoned out during his post game pressers.

Is this a joke? Slowing down his reaction time would be dangerous. If anything, he's medicating in the other direction. As for his postgame demeanor, he's probably just an idiot.

Scott Darling always seems to be very calm in net, but not in a druggy way, just in that make-the-hard-look-easy way that makes all our hearts flutter.

IDK...when I hear him talk after the game I imagine him being in matrix mode. He answers the questions but he seems to be out in space while doing it. He sounded quick and with it after game 1 but during the Ducks series he was Jim Morrison.

Just reading this thread now. 50 gave up one bad goal. Sucks.

TVR and Bickell in, Steeg and Runblad out.

from my uneducated perspective

The Hawks skated with them in a game they absolutely had to have. They put up 6 goals in games versus Lundquist and have showed nothing like that in this series. I doubt they can muster the same effort throughout this series and without it, they are sunk.

Hawks win games 3-4, lose a close 5 then finish it in 6.

50 gave up one shit goal. 10 made 2 stupid penalties in the 3rd.

I'll take TVR and Bickell for Versteeg and Rundblad any day!

I now get equally jacked for Hawks playoff games as I do for Bears playoff games. Never thought that would happen.

If Bishop is out, and it sure looks that way...the Hawks should light up the 20 year old backup goalie. Blowout wins have been rare this year...the Hawks sure could use an easy game.

Three home games, gotta win 'em all. A loss tonight is a near-fatal blow given Tampa's road prowess.

Beardown: No. They lose tonight, they still win the series.

Curious Hair: Mother fucker. Do you know who I am? You've been following hockey for 5 minutes. I came out of the womb saying "Shoot the puck!!!". How dare you go against my thought!!!!

Beardown: 8)

The Hawks haven't lost back-to-back games in this postseason: 2 and 5 in the first round, 1/3/5 in the third. So at least we know they're great at bouncing back.

Thats fine. He isnt 100%. Q needs to tell the Hawks to stop looking and waiting for the perfect play, and pepper Bishop.

Remember back to Ray Emery: if it's a hip issue, you have to get Bishop moving to side-to-side as much as possible.
