This is just a sampling of the doom and gloom Curious gave us in the last series.
He has NO faith in this team. He called them dead by game 3. Pathetically dead, apparently. He's been calling them pathetic, defeated, shameful all season long... yet here they are in the Stanley Cup Final.
I believe he knows hockey. He talks hockey, but honestly... I'm worried about him.
If the Hawks win the cup, there will be nobody in Florida more disappointed than Curious Hair.

Refs handing the Hawks the game, the Hawks politely decline it. A 2-0 lead for the Ducks wins this game. Pathetic showing thus far.

The Ducks are sloppy and the Hawks are timid. Truly the fruits of a 116-minute game tonight. Blech. Glad it's tied.

I guess we ran into the hot goalie.

Andersen is 102/107 (.953) in the series. Mike Smith all over again.

Opinion, not fact: this team looks pathetic.

Hawks look defeated out there.

I thought the Hawks were supposed to get all their shit efforts out of their system in the second half of the season. I didn't think they had any more in 'em.

Probably just going to be a Ducks empty-netter to wrap things up here. Demoralizing loss.

Can't beat Andersen. That's series. Not winning three out of four against a team this good.

The Hawks would be on the verge of a sweep if not for the crossbar. Pathetic showing.

That ought to do it.

Utterly shameful.

This sucks because after this, it's all over.

Back to your regularly scheduled playoff exit, I guess.

I am aware. I don't think they have enough talent to win two games.

Technically, it's just a 75% chance the Ducks win the series if they win, but they're not dropping 6 and 7.

My hunch is that with New York forcing a game 7, Chicago will not, giving rise to annoying Rangers fans talking about how the Rangers did what the Hawks couldn't and subjecting us to more boring Rangers games

Hawks are overdue for an elimination-game shitkicking. They've only been knocked out in less than game 7 sudden death by two teams under Q/Toews/Kane: the '09 Red Wings and the '12 Coyotes. With all this rhetoric about how you can never count the Hawks out and the Rangers winning last night, the universe feels like it's setting everything up for the Hawks to lay a big egg. My guess is they give up the first goal in the first five minutes and never lead or tie, but don't let the floodgates open until the third, ensuring that we all sit through ~45 minutes of frustrating suckage before we can find something better to do with our time

The only thing that scares me about this series is that Tampa does not scare me. The other 3 teams scared the hell out of me....well not so much Nashville but the other 2 did. I don't like losing games to a team that doesn't seem superior.

I find myself saying the same . I watch the game and think these guys aren't very good at all , how the fuck are they winning when in previous series I was on tenderhooks every time the puck entered the Blackhawks end.

I thought Anaheim and Nashville were far better teams than Tampa Bay. The struggle to outplay plugs like Ryan Callahan and J.T. Brown is jaw-dropping.

the weather has turned and they're longing for their cottages or they're burned out from focusing on hockey and want to get back to porking each other's wives and girlfriends.

probably a combination of both.

Versteeg in for Bickell. Timmonen in for Cuminskey. Oduya expected to play.

This has to be nothing more than one game for Timmonen to get his name on the cup should they win right? As it stands he did not play enough regular season games to qualify and is off without actually playing.

No. You don't worry about getting people's name on the Cup when you're trailing 2-1 in the series. This isn't a shocking move. The game is too fast and intense for Cuminsky and his D on TB's 3rd goal was embarrassing. Might as well replace him with another guy who can't keep up with the game. Maybe he'll guard the slot at least.

I'm still very pro CH and enjoy his hockey and non-hockey thoughts. I just want to beat his head in with a dildo sometimes.

I'd still protect him from chas though.

Kimmo, Rundblad, and Cuminsky is a really tough group of turds to choose from...yuk.

Bickell out Versteeg in....oye, more tough choices. Bickell sure did play himself out of the series. We can only hope Versteeg can keep the stupid to a minimum.

Bottom line...Gonna need the first 3 lines to really step it up.

She yelled at me for doing the same thing, Darkside. You should have learned from me. When I did it I felt shame and sat in my makeshift penalty box for 2 minutes. Then I got free.

Tonight is the night the Hawks need to score first in the 1st period. It would be great to see the Hawks get a lead and keep it all game.

Don't let this be the last time this team plays in the United Center. Must-win game.

Ive seen enough the last few years that even if they lost tonight it wouldn't shock me to still see them still win.
