It’s really interesting in that I agree Anaheim is a better, deeper team than Tampa. Like others have said, we are having a serious matchup problem with Tampa. Their speed and forechecking is a real problem. It has absolutely killed the Hawks offense in these 4 games. This morning Rozner was saying Crawford has given us the 2 wins….I wouldn’t go that far. He’s played great at times, yet he has still let in stupid goals. The one thing we have done well with is the Penalty kill.

Hawks are so fucked. This is the 4th straight game where the Lightning have dictated play and carried the game. This was the game where the Hawks had to go balls out but they literally have nothing left. The tank is empty. On the other hand, you have 18 crazed maniacs on the Lightning skating everywhere, snapping off crisp passes and forechecking the shit out of the Hawks 4 man rotation. The Lightning can smell blood and know they got the Hawks. They just need to keep on doing what they're doing as they're outworking the Hawks which has led them to get nearly every bounce as well.

The Lightning are making the Hawks really show their ass. More than a few times where the Hawks just couldn't exit the zone as the speed of the Lightning's forecheckers drove the Hawks into panic. Then when the Hawks set up in the Lightning's zone they did fuck all. All the Bolts did was pack it in front of Vasilevksiy since the Hawks defense is incompetent at lacing pucks on net. Every shot from d-men were wide or into shinpads.

The Hawks look too ragged and old. Never thought I'd say that but it's true. The Lightning are kicking the Hawks ass.

5 periods ago they hung 19 shots on the Lightning. Pretty quick transition from that to being not able to stay on the ice with these guys isn't it? For all TB's dominance the series is 2-2.

I think it maybe another situation like last series. Tampa wins game 5 and goes up 3-2. Hawks have to dig deep again and tie it at home 3-3 and go on the road and win it there.

Tampa is definitely causing them problems with their speed and forechecking.

But the Hawks under Q do a great job of adjusting as a series goes on. They will continue to adjust and get the job done.

Ok, in our 4 game sample the Hawks have dictated play in 2 of the 12 periods. And one of the 2 the Lightning were purposely playing prevent D.

The Hawks blew their shot to win this series when they lost game 2 and 3 against a one-legged goalie. You can see the Lightning aren't afraid. They're foaming at the mouth and know they got the Hawks nailed down.
