HG, you're my guy, but what? I love keith, but Cro is the MVP.

The Conn Smythe is for the entire tournament. Keith has been the team's best player since Game 1. Crawford almost lost his job. Keith deserves this one.

Incidentally, if Kucherov can go on Monday, I don't think Drouin dresses. Apparently he's never gotten along with Cooper, and his goal against + late penalty could put him back in the doghouse. Hell, even if Kucherov can't go, I wouldn't be surprised to see Namestnikov or Marchessault.

Yes, but Cro has been the MVP in the Stanley Cup Finals thus far.

Keith has clearly been their best player in these playoffs.

Has there been any word on Kucherov?

For this series, the MVP is Crawford . Entire playoffs its Keith. Tampa has by far the more quality chances throughout the series so I don't buy the Crawford is just making routine saves tack. He's been awesome.

Nothing official, but the medical staff ruled him out for the game last night, supposedly to Cooper's surprise. If it's a broken clavicle as running neck-and-shoulder-first into a steel pipe at full speed would lead you to believe, they're in the deepest of shit, because Johnson is already too hurt to take draws, pretty much ending the (ugh) triplet line.

If Kane got knocked into next month, it would suck and we would all openly weep, but at least theoretically there might be a chance for someone else to step-up in his place. If Crawford got Montezuma's Revenge and also had his groin fly to Mexico to read up on it, there's somebody who can probably pick up the slack. If Keith decided to leave town tonight to go raise goats somewhere in Bolivia with Goff, the Blackhawks' combined remaining defensemen couldn't match Keith's effort.

Chicago runs on Duncan.

Not Crawfords fault they cannot score on a one legged goalie. Should have had big leads most every game. He has been huge.

St. Petersburg Times says Kucherov is making the trip back to Chicago and will probably play.

So I assume if they win it on Monday the Grant Park thing will be held on Wednesday as these guys will want to get back home to Canada as quick as possible.

Looks like rain for that party. Kaner and Crawford drunk in the rain should be fun.

Doesn't matter. Game 6 will be an offensive explosion for the beloved. The Bolts have the heart of the tin man.

If I remember correctly the Hawks won the Cup in 2013 on a Monday and the parade was Friday.

Interesting take on a team that's played 25 playoff games through four rounds, and lately with a goalie who has no business dressing for games going 63/67 on one leg. I don't think a lack of heart is their problem. They just have too much crap on the bottom of their roster.

WTF?

Lightning were down 3-2 to the Red Wings and won the series. They went to Madison Square Garden for a game 7 and won when Lundqvist had won his last 6 game 7's.

Fucking Scorehead

Scorehead operates under the premise that the rest of the league is just mere scenery for the Blackhawks and not talented players and teams in their own right.

Any Cub fan who lived thru Prior and Wood in games 6 and 7 knows it's stupid to consider anything a sure thing

THIS!

Plus I'll add....for as many great saves Crawford has made, he's let in an equal number of soft goals. Game 5 was the first game Crawford didn't let it in any stupid goals...There were shots against, but he was the beneficiary of great defense.

Duncan Keith is the MVP of this Tampa Series, Anaheim, Minnesota, and Nashville. The Blackhawks are doing something other than hockey without Duncan Keith.

If Crawford explicitly won us three games, he explicitly lost us two. Keith hasn't been as ridiculously dominant throughout the Final as he was through the first three, but this is for the entire postseason, and his body of work is still the most important to the Hawks.

I am incredibly torn. I have tickets to see the Sox live against the Pirates tonight. Have not seen Sox in maybe 7 years. May have to watch Hawks on phone or some other weird solution.

I think the Hawks will win tonight, but because they're lethal in Game 6s (Games 6? Get me the ghost of William Safire) and because Bishop, Johnson, and Kucherov are in enfeebled states. The Bolts don't lack heart. That's lazy.

Teams that make it to the Final do not lack heart. That's just silly.

I think the Hawk will win. But it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it goes back to Tampa.
