The Bears are gonna blow them out. First time I've thought this all year(with good reason). McCown sucks. Bears will pick him off 3 times. They will also recover 2 fumbles. Bears will have great field position all day. Defense will score at least once. Benson will rush for 140. Raiders run defense sucks.

I've got a feeling the Raiders will kick to Hester. They'll be down by 14 and won't want to give the Bears field position. They'll say "what the hell, we gotta kick it to him and take a chance" and Hester will return a punt.

Bears - 38
Raiders - 0

It doesn't matter what you want. Bears are still gonna try.

I don't know if a full dismantle is necessary but they need a lot of help...

It will be a W for the Bears but it will be ugly. A fumble by Benson and a marginal performance by Griese, with 1TD and 2 INT. Vasher will mark his comeback with an INT. There may be another Devin Hester sighting.

Bears 20
Raiders 7

I'd be rather shocked if the Bears looked good. I tend to agree with you that this will be a sloppy game, lots of punts, but the Bears will find a way to pull this off.

The Raiders have lost four in a row. No way they lose five.

Bears will lose and Tommie Harris will make up more dumb ass shirts that say, "BELIEVE.....that we suck".

Bears will finish 6 and 10 and we fans are destined for several years of losing to the NFC North. I really enjoyed the hell out of last year, but am resigned to watching bad Bears football for sometime to come.

Go Browns!

The playoffs are a long shot, and 6-10 is where I think they finish as well, though they will probably finish 7-9 just to lower themseves in the draft.

Hold up, I live by you. Please warn me which McDonald's to avoid. I don't wanna get a "bonus" Baby Ruth when I go through the Drive-thru that afternoon.

Huggiebear's son is supposed to play for the Raiders. I wonder if he's a snitch like his old man... :P

what is this, 1983?

raiders have a good defense, but their offense is awful. if the bears make fargas look like a superstar it'll be as bad as when they let the great ray zellars run all over them years ago.

i think it'll be a bad, ugly game...20-10, bears.

My Dear Bear Loving Internet Friends,
Yes, we all know that the Raiders have lost four games in a row. But, they did win two in a row, which is not something that our beloved Bears have accomplished yet.
It appears that the Bears have found an offensive identity, and that they are in denial over it. We have here a team that has two rushing touchdowns although they consider themselves a running team, ranking dead last in yards per carry. Although they have a mediocre 10 touchdowns in the air, they are still ranked near the middle of the pack, which drags them into the cellar in the overall offensive play.
Oakland has allowed 1200 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground this season. Recent news that offensive guard Ruben Brown will miss the rest of the season puts Terrance Metcalf in the mix on short notice. Metcalf is not too shabby, but he may not be fully up to speed on all the Bears offense (all 12 plays of it). However, it should be noted that Brown had not been playing particularly well, so Metcalf may actually be an ungrade.
Oakland does not pass well, but they've found success in a ground attack, something that old Evil J.A.C.K. thinks is the biggest threat to the Bears Defense. They're averaging over 4.3 a carry. The Bears do not have the run defense that they had last year (unless you are thinking of the Super Bowl  ) allowing a whopping 4.6 a carry.
This looks like it is going to be a long grinding ground game. I am willing to wager that you will see some decent ground drives stalled out at the 15. I think we are looking at a field goal game.
Oak 22
Chi 17

Your Dear Old Fartbag,
Evil J.A.C.K.

They won't kick to him. Their freak kicker will kick the ball to Alcatraz first.

god i hope not. then we'd have to deal with the scenes of the football bouncing off the guard towers like we did when marinelli (sp?) said he would kick the ball in the lake.

Worse than even the Henry Burris classic in Gateway Arch/TWA/Edward Jones Dome from several years ago?

The last few times I picked against the Bears (vs. Philly and Green Bay), the Bears won. That's why I say what I say and will continue to say so the rest of the year.
