So Darkside wrote this parody song, but didn't know how to post it so I'm posting it for him via my website. I think it's veddy veddy good.

not bad at all.
the "Joniak or Hood" line was pretty funny.

between this and the dane cook deal, i should really start writing.
i need some ideas. anyone want to write some lyrics and i'll track it?

i have a "studio" in my 2nd bedroom so i'm good on tracking.

i'm thinking more for parody song ideas...lyrics, etc. i've never been much of a lyricist.

Once you have an idea or even one line it all comes to you quick from my experience.
I was in the shower yesterday morning, and I thought of the first couple lines from the chorus there (Benson Baby don't you cry...) and I sat down in my front room and thought up the rest of the lyrics in probably all of 3 minutes. Grabbed my acoustic and recorded it.

i actually had an idea do a parody of the Noccioni parody song....

Mac Jur-ko and HArry....do de radio show.
In down-town Cheecago...on de 7th floor.

have to figure out the chords though.

it's not a bad idea, though. MJH loves parody songs, and though they probably wouldn't play the entire song, they would probably play at least a portion of it. it's definitely airable.
