Bonehead KS, a little newspaper 101 for you: the story writer doesn't write the headline or the tease, the editor does. And the editor doesn't write the story - the writer does. And the editor doesn't read the story either - he skims it for buzzwords to write a headline. So in order to protect his job and the writers and the newpapers assets - the editor put alleged in the headline since he didn't read the story. But by now I'm sure this is above your IQ. "Put up or shut up!" We all read the story 7 years ago and Mike has played revisionist history several times so there are several versions of the story.
