Warmer weather has really aided the weight loss. In the winter I'd work out and then more or less stay hibernate in the cabin.

Now along with working out I get a nice sweat with yard work at the grandparent's, aunt's and parent's. Walking/biking to places, playing bags, etc.

Down to 224 and getting some decent definition.

I got up to 230 lbs just before Memorial Weekend. I stopped eating fast food. Fresh fruit for breakfast, salads for lunch, and I am down to 218, two weeks later. I actually had somebody tell me that it looks like I lost some weight. 8)

I'm joining this motley crue. Used my wife's Myfitnesspal Monday and discovered I'm consuming close to 2300 calories a day. Starting Tuesday did 300 cal of oatmeal in the morning, 600 cal of lunch (usually Chipotle or Subway) and doing Lean Cuisines at night, 1-2 of them, 300-600 cal plus bran meal if I only do one. Trying to not snack and doing water in between...starting at 195, want to get down to 180 or 175...snacking was killing me. So many empty calories.

I started using that about a month ago but not to lower my calories rather to lower my sodium.

I've never really cared about sodium. When I've wanted to lose weight, I've always looked at calories. But, by mainly being certain that my sodium intake was below 2300mgs each day, I've lost about 15 pounds in a month while paying almost no attention to how many calories are in the food.

As a byproduct, most low-sodium foods are also low in calories so I've rarely gone over the 1500 calorie mark on any particular day. It also forces you to eat non-processed or fresh, homemade meals on a regular basis. But, it's been quite effective in improving health and losing weight. I wasn't really intending to lose any weight, just monitor my salt intake, but I feel pretty good and I look even more handsome than I did before and I wouldn't have thought that possible.

The myfitnesspal app gets the Dr. Ken gold stamp of app-roval.

I'm down to 229 since 241 in March.

My diet has loosened since April. Need to tighten it back up for the home stretch.

Down to 222.

Slow and steady for myself. I'm very good about using MFP during the week but once the weekends hit I lose discipline.

I expect the weight loss to be a little easier now that the warm weather is here to stay. I'll still go to the gym for lift but now I'm outside being active as well instead of cooped up in the house.

Seeing muscular definition is always nice. Haven't been this healthy overall since my sophmore year in college.

I'm going the complete wrong direction the last few weeks. Almost at an all time high for myself. Frustrated with myself and being lazy.
It's put up or shut up time. :|

I've done a nice job of not giving back the Lenten loss. I'm not really losing any more though

Down 91 now. Slowed down to about a pound a week. Still working out or exercising 5-6 days a week, but I think I need a change to get started again. Right now I do 2 cross fit classes ( 30 minutes each) a week, weights 3 days, and cardio 3-4 days. I was thinking of taking on 3 more cross fit a week, I do have the time, and see how that works. I just dont want to get stuck doing the same things for more then a couple months at a time. Any thoughts?

I'm going to the gym tonight after work. I can't take it any longer. I am going to sign up for a 5K this week so that I have something to work towards. I would like to run
the 10K Turkey Trot here in town. The last time I did it was back in 2010 I think and I broke an hour so I still think that is a reasonable goal.

I lost about 200 lbs.

Edit: Seriously I'm down to 190 from about 215. I'll probably be down to about 180-185 by the end of September. Now if I can find a way not to put on 30 lbs from October to March I'll be in great shape. Unfortunately I've never been able to.

You can start by sticking to your diet and not stuffing your face like a fucking fatso fatty.

You're better than that.

SomeGuy believes in you.

It's a problem with exercising. I don't really change my diet but every year I seem to lose the motivation to exercise around October. Because of your support I believe this year will be different.

My father in law was in town from Florida for five days. He wanted to eat all of the things that he misses, like Lou's, Portillo's, burritos, etc. I ate like a savage for five days, including awful pizza from Chuck E. Cheese's.
