I was beyond hammered a many times in college, and I can officially say I was never too drunk to walk home. Hell, my theory back then was to run home, so I'd get there faster. Shocking that Grimace was smashed in Arizona a few years back and had to get a lift home via golf cart.

UBER THAT

Used to ride my bike home drunk a lot in college. I wouldn't recommend it. Couple of crashes.

That is what I have heard. This was over 15 years ago now.

It's not the bike riding that gets you the DUI. It's the drinking beforehand.

Maybe it's got something to do with his size? I have a buddy who's well over 3 spins and he tumbles from time to time when he gets hammered.

Possibly. The hotel incident supports your theory. Then again, I have a buddy who's 140 lbs., and I've witnessed him falling after a night of boozing. So, methinks it's Spiegel's inability to consume responsibly.

I caught a little bit of Mully and Hanley this morning and a guest asked Mully about his vacation and if he did much drinking. He said he was with his family, and while he's normally not much of a drinker anyway he doesn't drink when he's out with his wife and especially the kids as it sets a bad example and so forth.

It probably wasn't, because that's a perfectly reasonable thing to say, but I wondered if that was a little shot at Spiegel (who told a story about getting to drunk while on vacation with his family that he lost track of time, fell on the stairs while going back to their room, and had to be taken to the ER the next day because he hurt his shoulder when he fell).

Ugh what is with fat people and falling. They always injure themselves doing it. I fall all the time when I'm drunk and I just get scrapes and cuts.

I thought you didn't drink?

When fat people fall it's with tremendous force and weight. Thus more likely to get injured.

So Spiegel proudly tells his drunken mishaps? I'd keep that to myself if I were him.
