Sports & Torts Is Airing Final Episode On July 16, 2015
Elliott Harris and I have decided to conclude the Sports & Torts podcast. Tomorrow's show will be the final one. I have enjoyed doing the show with Elliott since 2011 but it it time to move on to other projects namely Talking Football books volumes 2 and 3.
I wish to thank Dave Olson one of the best sound men/producers in the business. He was fantastic to work with.
If anyone wants to do a podcast call Chris Witting at Talkzone who is the Owner. Chris and Dave Olson are great to work with.
I got to meet Elliott by doing the Bearly Legal podcast with Robin Earl and consider Elliott and his wife dear friends. Elliott and his wife have always been there for me professionally and personally and I want to thank them.
Elliott took me under his wing and introduced me to some very beautiful and talented women who we got a chance to interview. Without Elliott this would not have been possible.
Elliott and I have enjoyed interviewing the former athletes and women over the 4 1/2 years. I my math is correct we interviewed over 195 Hall of Fame athletes, over 200 star athletes, and hundreds of women.
I want to thank all these athletes and women they were great to interview. I can count on one hand the amount of interviews I didn't enjoy. (Less than 5) I learned about their careers and heard great stories which will be detailed in upcoming books.
I would have never thought when I started Bearly Legal with Robin Earl in November 2008 that I would have got a chance to interview this many athletes. After the 2nd show with Robin I was struggling to find anyone to interview but it worked out magnificently.
My only regret is I didn't get to interview my favorite football player of all time Dan Marino. I was like the Little Engine That Could, I kept saying I think I can, I think I can. I tried my best but couldn't make it happen.
