Bulls lose, Rasheed Wallace laughs again, Kirk Hinrich gets a "T" and Tyrus Thomas still does not know where he is.

Oh, and Noah claps after a basket is scored.

However, the Bulls play hard and with energy.

I thought he was a chest pounder and screamer. Bulls don't win till they play the Clippers at home next Sunday. Ho-hum.

For some reason, I woke up in a positive mood about the game tonight. Although I have no rational grounds for making this prediction, I foresee a Bulls victory tonight with Kirk Hinrich, Tyrus Thomas and Ben Gordon coming up big.

It doesnt seem likely the Bulls have a chance, but sooner or later they need to break their slump. I dont see it being against Detroit though, and I mainly am hoping they dont embarrass themselves on national TV

Detroit is not heads and shoulders better than the Bulls. Through the early going, this appears to be a mismatch, and I'm even saying the Bulls WILL win tonight (I think they will), but I think the Bulls will get out of this season long shooting slump, and get this offense going some.

Tyrus Thomas appears to be very active so far. I like the attacking style so far.

Oh yeah. He could easily shut up the Lamarcus Aldridge talk. He's shown enough potential to give him alot more time.

He's all potential, and no position, but extremely young.

We've got to be patient with him.

my friends hate on duhon but he's the man!

edit:felt it had to be said after his drive to the basket and the "and 1"

i really thought id see a lot of that from deng this year. his unsuccess early on at it looks like it has made him reluctant and has hurt his game and confidence. if you ask me thats his problem. early on he was unsuccessful, now he just needs to have a good game and we'll see him gain his confidence.

I believe that's correct. This trip is odd in that we only play 4 games out West.

As good as the Bulls have started, it's only a 3 point game. C'mon Bulls!

Bulls offense goes into the tank to close out the half. Detroit hanging around. I'm nervous.

Bulls 51
Pistons 45

interesting thought from barkley, he noted that the bulls have shot as well as they can expect and are only up by 6 at the half. but what he isnt acknowledging is that their up by 6 against the pistons. that was at least worth mentioning. its not like the pistons are either favorites for the east or at least the runner-up.

Yeah but he also neglects to mention other stats, like they are up in FTs and %. Overall Im extremely pleased with how we have played. Hinrich and Tyrus have really played well.

Now if only someone could guard 'Sheed...

Detroit is giving themselves a great shot here with all the 3's in the 3rd quarter.

What a block shot by Tyrus Thomas! Insane how high he got! Nice cheap play by Rip Hamilton to grab Thomas's foot.

Bulls are doing a very nice job on the boards, but those 3rd quarter turnovers and Detroit 3 pointers are pissing me off.

If I were an opposing coach, I'd play a zone defense at least half the time against the Bulls. They seem to be consistently lost vs that defense.

K Tyrus is a pimp. He needs 35 MPG for the rest of the season. Could be one of the most unique players in the NBA.

Hinrich's decision to go 1 on 3 was horrible. Not only did he not make the layup, he allowed a fast break because of that decision.

lol i feel like the bulls have run that same play like 6 times at least this quarter. that high screen on the outside for kirk. then he fakes like hes going baseline and then steers the detroit guard into screen. then he just dribbles into the paint and looks for an open guy. all some variation of that. theyve left smith open twice in a row after he laid the screen.
