7 sounds about right but if I had to pick a lane I would take the over. Improved coaching staff is good for 2 more wins and there is no way the offense is as bad as last year. Even if the defense is marginally better all that might get them to 8-8.

+5 is the line against GB. For a team that is only supposed to win 7 according to Vegas, Vegas is giving the Bear some respect in the opener.

7 victories would be a significant achievement for this roster.

I'm not one to normally get into football even early into training camp but I heard Mike and Mike talking about the NFL this morning and felt a little bulge.

Training camp and exhibition football is a time everyone holds their breath hoping stars don't go down before a season actually starts. If it was up to me I'd cut the exhibition season down to 2 games.

They will start 1-0. The Packers, specifically Rodgers, have been pretty slow starters the last couple of seasons. Week 1 at home is the absolute perfect time for this roster to play the Packers. On Thanksgiving, well the Pack should be rolling by then and I expect them to beat the Bears by about 20. 8-8 is probably the high water mark for this team, and that would be if everything goes their way. 6-10/7-9 is probably about right.

They are hard to guess. Last year, was so out of control, it's hard not to expect improvement with a professional coaching staff. I don't know if that means 7-9, 8-8 or better. This was an offense (minus Marshall now obviously) that was very good; it can improve with more balance. Fangio on defense is very exciting.

I refuse to write off a team in the NFL.

I don't see how anyone can predict a record for this team. There are maybe 5 guys on this defense we know can play a 3-4. This could be a total bottom out of a season as they transition.

I like the offense but I like it at this time last year as well.

Competent coaches will make a huge difference. Forte is a year older and they lost Marshall but I expect the offense to be better. Cutler will have a good season.
