From his 7 CBS stations.

http://www.robertfeder.com/2015/07/15/layoffs-hit-cbs-radio-stations/

CBS Radio eliminated more than 200 positions in companywide layoffs this week, including an unconfirmed number in Chicago.

Rod Zimmerman, senior vice president and market manager of CBS Radio Chicago, declined to comment on the layoffs or specify the number of jobs affected among the seven stations he oversees. Other managers contacted were not authorized to talk about them.

Unlike several other major markets, no on-air jobs were believed to have been among cuts in Chicago. All here were said to be in sales, production, promotion and other off-air slots.

The latest reduction in force was ordered by Andre Fernandez, who succeeded Dan Mason last May as president of CBS Radio.

In Chicago, CBS Radio includes all-news WBBM AM 780 and WCFS FM 105.9; sports/talk WSCR AM 670; Top 40 WBBM FM 96.3; adult album alternative WXRT FM 93.1; country WUSN FM 99.5; and classic hits WJMK FM 104.3.

I don't believe it's quantifiable via normal means.

Speaking of, I caught the last minute of M&H this morning and heard a clip of Les absolutely losing it on Adam Harris. What was that about?

Beardown's thread is better.

Beardown wins...always!

Zimmerman continues to bring NOTHING to the table, year after year.

IF everything is going to the web and podcast, why then not work on developing more than the shit you have...and about 100 other ideas he would never think of.

Its easy to say NO and fire people, instead of actually suggesting something or doing anything that represents the salary he earns.

Harvey Wells and Dave Robbins were among five senior vice president/market managers forced out Thursday as the company continued to thin its ranks and reduce expenses.
