Who is coming to camp in the best shape of their lives?
Who is going to pull a Marcus Harrison and show up fat and get cut?
The Training Camp Injury™. Who will be the unlucky recipient that gets their season shortened?
Training camp fights!!!! Not as prevalent with CBA-mandated decrease in hitting but they're gonna happen! (Unfortunately stupid NFL rules will prevent them from getting filmed. I hate you NFL)
The "offseason changed his life" guy! Who will be it be? His newfound leadership will be irreplaceable!
There are around 20 training camp days. How many of those days will be "best day of practice in my career"?

This year is a big one for him. He's missed some big kicks the past two years. Plus he's an expensive mouthy sonofabitch.

It's like I've woken up from a sports coma. Glorious day, and every day after this only gets better.

How quickly will Cutler make Adam Gase his bitch, just like every other coach he's ever had?

As much as I love football, this also makes me miserable with the thought that winter is on the horizon.

Our national nightmare is over.

People don't have to pretend they care about other sports anymore! Soon people will be able to hop into their cars and just search for lights and find football!!! Right Jim?

It isn't fair to judge Cutler on his first year with a new coordinator. He should make major improvements in the second year with Gase.

It isn't Cutlers fault that he gets a coach fired virtually every year of his career.

Football really is the perfect sport though(besides playing it, which is basically killing them).

Short enough season you want more when it is done. Played at a time when you actually want to watch instead of a time when you should be in a park or at the beach. Making the playoffs is actually somewhat difficult.

Which is perfect for....fantasy. Fantasy nerds are without question the worst.

However, a in-person football fantasy draft is incredibly fun and a thing I look forward to every year. The next 15 weeks/games are frustrating and horrible but it takes 25% of the effort of the other 3 fantasy sports.

I'm having a hard time mustering up any kind of excitement about the NFL this year. I've been slowly waning the last few years. I can see myself jumping ship entirely within the next couple years.

If I had RGIII as my quarterback I might feel the same way. :P

There's always room on the Keeping Score NBA bandwagon.

I've been through much worse (don't make me list 'Skins QBs of the last 15 years) than this. It's more than my team. Just the NFL in general. The coverage. The hypocrisy. All dat.

Still not ready for football but getting close. The constant talking about it during the offseason doesn't give me a proper amount of time to miss it. The whole deflategate bullshit got annoying fast.

Mulumba will be staring OLB by mid-season. I feel it in my plums.

And just wait until the new "next All-Pro" the Emperor begins to flash this training camp:

I love the NFL BUT the last few years,it has resembled the Arena league with the high scores and lack of decent CB's and safeties. It seems like tackling is a forgotten art. The NFL needs to pull back with all the rule changes favoring the offense.

It is, the NFL doesn't want it because of all the head stuff. If you don't have the opportunity to practice something you are not going to be very good at it.

Every year, my NFL buzz deflates more and more.
I will follow the Bears, but really could care less about the season starting.
NFL = Lame
