Muprh was talking about The A Rod deal in texas and how upset the Rangers must have been when they found the next highest offer to their $250 mill was $180 mill.

He rang the bell and said nothing worse than negotiaing against yoruself...ding ding ding...and laughed

Hmmm...who else did that? Oh yeah, WSCR offering the Sox 2.5Mill a year for Radio rights when ESPN offered them NOTHING, but Reinsdorf leveraged the hell out of the WSCR fear on that one. Reinsdorf took the kids to school on that one. it's what he does.

I can't decide what's more pathetic, MNMS or this two hour junk heap.

Yeah, I guess it's possible to do what Reinsdorf did when you have Score salivating over the White Sox.

But given that he's a Cub fan, not a Sox fan, perhaps this was actually a subtle shot at the Score.

That's what I was thinking. He's a cockhead.

To early, but YES, that is exactly what I meant to say originally. Murph was taking a shot at WSCR.

Still, you gotta think Mitch feels like moron bidding 2.5M$ to ESPN's nothing

Anyone think Mitch owns a $1600.00 toilet seat?

Maybe I am putting too much into this, but who really takes shots (indirect or direct) at their employer on the air like that? I would think, usually when there might be turmoil going on behind the scenes that we may not know about. Perhaps Murph knows his time is limited or something happening there has pissed him off. Not starting up rumors here, I'm just suggesting an idea.

He's gone, my guess early next year with another new program realignment.

Yeah, right after I posted that I realized that's probably what you meant in the first place.

Maybe Murph figured it was disguised just enough that it wouldn't get back to management, or that he could defend himself if it did.

He probably doesn't like management there much anyway. Although somebody there in a suit must have stood up for him against B&B after the "looooong banana" episode a few months ago.

I'd like to see Murph take a shot to his head.

I think this POS took several shots to the head, just not the type you and the many others wished he took. All you have to do is waste 10 minutes listening to his mindless babble and stupid, amatuerish sound effects to realize that his brain is not located where it should be. Looking forward to his last show, will probably listen to the POS that day, not until then though. Think M A C F A I L will be there to wish him good luck in his future homelessness? If I were him, I would. Good bye to the talentless POS, it's coming real soon!!

Murph's a tool is back, does that mean the SP Hood apologist is on his way back soon too?
