Giants, Redskins, Saints & Lions. We gained a game on all of them.

Cowboys and Packers have their divisions. Don't worry about them. Two Wild card spots left. Philly won today but we have that tie breaker cuz we beat them.

We still play the Giants, Saints and Redskins to control that tie breaker with a win.

It's not impossible. Nobody thought the Chiefs would have got a wild card last year with 3 games left.

Root for the Seahawks to lose tommorow vs the 49ers. Although somebody has to win that shitty NFC west.

I'm not stupid. Bears didn't look great. I'm just saying there is hope.

Bears are alive, so I'm also trying to be positive here, but I can't believe in this team. I think they stink, but I also hope they prove me wrong.

Lions have beat us twice. But look at their remaing schedule. It's a bitch.

Lions Schedule

Giants

Packers

@ Vikings

Cowboys

@ Chargers

Chiefs

@ Packers

Obviously alot of these potential wild card teams will play each other. Lions play Giants next week. That's an automatic game pick up for the Bears if they win. There will be others.

They may not win more than 2 games with that schedule.

Yeah. But that last game vs the Packers might not mean shit for the Packers. It could mean home field advantage vs the Cowboys. Maybe.

Bears play the Pack the 2nd to last game. They could be locked in to their position for that game too. We'll see.

I'd be shocked if the Bears won 8 games. This is one of the worst teams in the NFL they faced. Their D is average now because of all the injuries, and the offense is on that Baltimore/Oakland level.

I'm with you on your prediction. I've been saying 6 wins, but I'd probably revise that to 7.

I think every game is a must win now. They have to get back to .500 before I start thinking about playoffs to much though.

Everything you say is correct BD. I just thought I'd lay the situation out. It's not impossible.

Do you think the Redskins, Saints, Giants and Lions are great? Of course not. They are the competition. They can run off some losses. Plus we play 3 of these teams.

Playoffs are possible. Are the Bears SB contenders? Hell no. But if they can make the playoffs I'd like that.

I agree - it's definitely possible, and playing these teams definitely give the Bears a shot.

you guys have all been sipping the orange and blue kool aid. the raiders are awful. god fucking awful. and it took the bears 3 and 3/4 quarters to get the ball in the endzone. they didnt sustain any real drive, no running game whatsoever. sure, maybe mathematically they're alive for the playoffs, but if the bears win more than 6 games this year ill be shocked.

Just get back to .500 first, and then look at your chances.

I think you are probably right - I don't think the Bears are a good team, and that was a horrible game today, minus the last 3 minutes.

as bad as the NFC is overall, there's still 2 pretty fucking good teams-- the packers and cowboys. from what ive seen of both teams, they are at least as good as the 2006 bears were.

the bears will not make the playoffs. id love for the to rattle off 6 wins in a row to prove me wrong, but thats not gonna happen. between stubborn ass lovie smith, that jerkoff ron turner, and the bulls, its gonna be a long fucking winter.

I'm about to give up on all sports. I hear the Chicago Symphony has some good young talent.

True, but they rely too heavily on a shaky string section that tends to fold under pressure.

Bears are as good as done. They can't score only in the last few minutes and expect to win. I saw nothing yesterday that gives me any hope.

Bears need to just put Rex out there and have him toss the ball downfield almost every down. They have no running game, so they should just go with 5 recievers, let him throw long passes, or short ones once they start sending defenders downfield. He's at his best just flinging the ball.

Flinging the ball to the opponent.....

True, that will happen, but, he (and Greise-ball) both throw a lot of interceptions anyway, so they might as well make it exciting.
