Bulls are down by 21 in the third. Great to hear the home crowd booing this pathetic ass team. This team will be out of the hunt by January. I know the Raptors are a really good young team but I thought the Bulls were supposed to be the same thing. They look bad from top to bottom and I don't know what else to say.

It seems I'm the only one on the board and I hope the rest of you aren't enduring having to watch this shitty effort.

Ri-fucking-diculous. 34 point lead for Toronto. The boos are getting louder.

Downright embarrasing.

I'm glad that Skiles decided to bench the starters for hopefully the rest of the game. It's one thing to lose, it's another thing to be losing by 25-30 points in the 3rd quarter.

I'm still not ready to panic, call for any drastic changes, but hopefully being off from tonight until Thursday will let in restart their season in a way.

Realistically, even if they find a way to go 2-4 or 3-3 on the upcoming road trip, we're talking a 3-9/4-8 record after 12 games. That's completely unacceptable, especially for a team that is expected to contend in the East.

I'm completely frustrated with this start as I'm sure all of you are. If things don't start changing soon, we're going to have a long winter ahead.

After 3 quarters, Raptors 77, Bulls 43.

Some mild chants of Kobe again...boos reigning after the quarter ends, Skiles looks like he may kill somebody.

I've watched a lot of ball so far and the Bulls look, arguably, like the worst team in the league right now.

It's hard to argue with that assessment right now.

Glad I missed that shitfest. I have noticed their offensive movement off the ball sucks this year. Their offense consists of a pick and roll while the 3 others are hovering around the 3 point line looking to take a jump shot, f'ing pathetic. Bring back the god damn triangle.

I agree - the ball movement has been horrible, and most of the time, they end up taking some long jump shot. Even when they are in transition, they almost always pull up for a jumper instead of going to the basket.

I realize this is last night's game, but I have a thought. Skiles is the master of the out of bounds designed play. Presumably, this means he knows abit about offensive basketball. Why then, do we have pick and roll (softly run) with three mopes standing around as the staple of the offense?
Has the dreaded "tuning out of the coach" started at the Madhouse on Madison?

This Bulls team downright sucks.

The Celtics are better, as are the Raptors, New Jersey, and Cleveland.

The Bulls won't sniff the playoffs this year if Paxson doesn't do something quickly.

Just because this team has a history of starting slowly, I think Paxson will wait until they get back from this 6 game trip (where I am predicting a 2-4 record), and then see if this team can settle in and get things going. I don't think we'll see any trades until January/February personally though I'm sure he'll be active if this team continues it's slide.

I still find all the "were not gonna make the playoffs" panic talk amusing. I wonder if anyone who says this has followed the team the past 3 years.

I agree that this is a playoff team, but we also shouldn't be talking about 1-5 starts when you have a team that should be contending in the East. It's a long season that's just beginning. I'm not panicing just yet, but I'm extremely concerned.

You can find it amusing all you want. The fact is there are now at least two more teams that have gotten way better than the Bulls have that being Toronto and Boston.

Just because they have started off poorly and got into the playoffs doesn't mean they will continue to do so. This team has no continuity, no leader and still, no inside scoring presence.

I am not declaring the season over, but their margin for error is razor thin.

Toronto is an interesting team. They are a team that takes a lot of 3's, like the Bulls, but they also have the great inside presence of Bosh, something the Bulls just can't seem to find anywhere.

Things will get worse before they get better.

I'm one of the people who now doesn't think they'll make the playoffs, and I have followed them the past three years (even longer in fact). Just because they were able to eventually turn things around and eventually make the playoffs before doesn't mean we should assume that it will automatically happen now. I won't take the comfortable stance of "Ah, this happened before." All I can judge is what I see right now and right now, they look like SHIT.

Really, as a Bulls fan, the slow starts over the past couple of years is all we have to hang our hats on. That's not enough for me.

You said the same thing about the reaction to the Bears after they started 1-2.

Yeah I overestimated that offense. Didnt realize they would be this bad.

The bulls situation is alot different though. Yeah it blows that they are 1-4, but they also have a strong history of coming back, and I do think that alone is reason enough(along with the fact that they have the same players, only a year improved) to think they can come back and win 45-50 games. The Mavs started 0-4 and the Suns started 1-5 last season. The only loss that was a very embarrassing loss was the Raptors, and they are a great team, right up there with Boston and Detroit in the East. Theres no way you can write off the Bulls 5 games into the season. Its the equivalent of writing an NFL team off after 1 game.
