Hope Angelo admits it was a bad pick, and releases him during the offseason, along with letting Rex walk.

Great fumble. It's over. We won. Got lucky this game, however.

Pad those stats Ced. XMAS comes early for Benson.

It's what, his third touchdown of the year?

Nice, giving Benson a token td for his 75 yards rushing on 30 carries, what a joke.

I don't know how many he has...but it's not nearly enough for what they're paying him.
Buster.

This was quite possibly the most boring football game I have ever watched. No great offense, no great defense, no great special teams on display. Just bad, bad, bad play by everyone that put together the score of these two teams. Wow. I can't remember the last time I've been so NOT entertained by football. Probably the time these two played about 12 years ago. That was really bad.

29 carries, 76 yards, 1 TD for Benson today.

Bears came alive with about 3:00 to go, gotta give credit to Rex/Berrian as well as the defensive performace today.

At 4-5, we're not really in this thing, but we're not out of it either.

Let's hope that they can carry some of the late game positives into next weeks showdown with Seattle.

Not really. Just Raider offense was worse than the Bears. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

Blackhawks are on Comcast and the Score. You got Carm and Mongo. Plus WBBM post and trafic updates. That's it.

I'm looking forward to Colts vs San Diego. I've got 3 fantacy guys in that game too.

Gladly I did not watch the game but heard bits on 780.

This game was a complete abortion and Seattle will wipe the Bears out next Sunday, at 3:15 no less.

Management needs to take a hard look at Lovie and his coaching style because frankly, he has done nothing in regards to changing philosophy to get better. He is a stubborn ass and relies to heavily on systems.

Bob Babich sat in the catbird seat today and from what I hear, called a better D-package today.

Bears will finish higher than the Vikes and purple Jesus, but they still are a subpar team.

One more thing, I would gladly ship Urlacher out of here, resign Briggs for big paper, and get something for Urlacher. Who would give up a QB or WR for ol' bullethead?

This is definitely true. Look no further than Cedric Benson's NFL worst 3.1 yards per carry.

Getting into the Playoffs at this point really doesn't mean anything for the Bears. There is no way they beat Green Bay or Dallas in the postseason.

Can someone introduce Rex Grossman's dumb ass to Greg Olsen? I don't think that Rex knows he is on the team.

Who woke up Moose? I didn't know he was allowed to have more than 2 catches in a game.

Cedric Benson sucks. I'm sorry, but if that is a good performance for him then he's never going to be anything good. There are backup running backs on other teams that would have been able to create seperation on a run.

The Oakland Raiders are a mess. Jamarcus Russell is screwed if/when they let him play.

Brian Urlacher sucks and I hope the media rips him for it. If you are injured, then sit out but don't think you are going to get a pass because you tell Jay Glazer you have an arthritic back. From my limited medical knowledge, arthritis doesn't get better. You will continue to suck.

Random thoughts over.

The 2.6 ypc he had today will bring that down.

Lovie Smith must not be watching the same game we are when breaking down Benson. It's insulting that they continue to base their offense around this guy.

I am starting a grassroots effort to get the Bears to punt Urlacher off this team and trade for a #1 WR, O-Lineman, or QB.

His one word answers now just show what a pudfucker he really is. The luster is gone from this guy and I would have no problem with resigning Briggs for a long term deal.

Is Brendan Ayanbadejo that bad that he can't play Linebacker?

I would like to see Ocho-Cinco or Carson Palmer in blue and orange.

AP should get a shot. They aren't a team that runs or passes well enough to set the other up - they just need to mix in up, and not go into a game thinking that giving the ball to a guy who averages 3.1 yards a carry is a good strategy.

We should go for it on every fourth down. That would be 12.16 yards!

Watching the replay, Grossman looked off the safety nicely on the Berrian TD.

He gave a hard 2 second stare to the right before he went to Berrian down the left side. Enough to freeze the safety and make that play. Just thought that should be noted.
