I caught a litte bit of the last hour. Man, that drinky is just the dumbest guy in the history of the Score (That's saying something). But he's so damn obtuse, proud and cocky to realize this. Absolutely no self awareness.

I would honestly be embarrassed if I behaved the way drinky does on the air. The way he presents himself. His inability to speak. He has the personality, attitude and intelligence of a high school punk. I mean just if family or friends were listening. Forget everybody else. Don't you think they roll their eyes at him when they hear him?

Like you said, nobody at the SCORE says anything to him. I know he's been there forever. So he gets to do shows and updates cuz, well, he's been there forever. One of those things. But if a kid applying to the SCORE behaved like him and had the constant "Ahhhhs" in their speech, do you think that kid is hired? Of course not. Not to mention the bad jokes and stupid talk in his updates that sometimes last 10 minutes.

He shouldn't even had said anything. They are trying to get under his skin and he rewarded whoever it was.

Here's the thing. Let's say drinky was given on air roles and/or updates when he first got to the SCORE. You think would have done it then like he does it now? Behave like an idiot? NO WAY. There would be a sense of wanting to do it like a pro and take advantage of the chance. Seems like the older he gets the more he acts like an idiot. I don't remember him being this much of a stupid punk when I first heard him do shows. Stupid? Yes. But not to this weird level that he's currently at.

Why?

Probably cuz of a comfort level. Nobody checks anybody at the SCORE. He has realized this. So "Bad & stupid" doesn't matter at the SCORE. Bernstein made it to where "Being a scum bag" is the way to broadcast at the SCORE. Even though the underlings, like drinky, are the "Meatballs" that Bernstein hates. Which I've always found to be so ironic.

Put it this way: Do they teach the students at ICB to do updates the way drinky does them? Meanwhile, drinky does the read for ICB.

The Cubs would have done that deal on draft day and every day thereafter

This show is achieving the impossible. It's actually getting worse. Just when you think they hit rock bottom Drinky has a segment where he makes fans "smarter" and Rozner breaks out a new more annoying voice. I thought I could listen to any show that talked baseball. I was wrong.
