n the future, they need someone to be the face of such an event. Abbatcola did a fine job once everyone else left, but the fact every single WSCR on air person leaves is something they need to work on.

The correct answer is "No".

I'll bet Da Ma Na was the life of this thing even though he doesn't work for the station. Cuz the cause is important to him, obviously. So he probably made up for the lack of interest by the SCORE people.

Its not about talking to them, its about an event to raise money, that gathers little steam and then doesnt raise money.

While the charity is the end game, its also an event for the station and poorly organized events like this dont show well for your company, whatever you do.

Let's face it, at the end of the day, it's all about "What's in it for me" for the Score guys. So they'll pimp the charity while they do the shows cuz they have the copy to read to pimp it, but once the show is over, they don't care. Especially somebody like Bernstein who probably thinks this thing should have been for his charity. Ya know, the only good charity. He's offended that this money didn't go to his.

It's probably not worth the headache come contract time to require these lame radio guys to attend/stay at these things. After all, it is out in the bright sunshine and not in a basement.

The charity is a great place that does a lot of good things, but it is really really expensive also, so it wouldn't be worth the $ to pay some pseudo-celeb to be the face of the event either. All of the $ should go to them.

Why does it need to be in a contract? Can't you do good things just because or for your employer? I hate dancing, I watch purses when we go out. If one of my friends runs a charity who's one of the first ones out there, for a long ass time, sometimes on stage or in a cage dancing? Me. Why? You gotta support the team. Get people to donate.

Mitch isn't gonna pay for that. They have the well spoken, witty and smart, drinky to do it for free.

Drinky: Ahhhhhhhhhh, great crowd today. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.

But I'm sure they could get some celeb, maybe a c lister, maybe who has a kid with autism, to do it for free. But I doubt they even try to effort that.

I agree with this....but look who you're talking about: Bernstein, Boers, and a collection of guys who only come out of the basement to do a bar appearance for a couple hundred bucks.

Dan was probably glad it rained. Less chance of getting cancer because of damaneel.

Dan legit threatened to file a OSHA complaint if Rozner lit up his cigar on the golf course.

Mac vacated the premises when the rains came down, he had a back. Didnt even tee it up on drives due to limitations. Combine that with my bad wrist, it was a -2 under for our group.

Winning 4 some went -10. They won White Sox tickets! Ya really!

-Had some nice conversations with Mitch about stuff.
-Bernstein overly nice to me.
-Matty played a nice host and MC. Gotta use him more things.
-Goff and Spiegs couldnt have gotten out of there fast enough.

Tried to win a PRODUCER FOR A DAY CONTEST...Some puss must have outbid me at the last second.

But I will be attending the Joe Maddon in studio session next Tuesday.

Lack of prizes, lack of attendance, pouring rains....everything came up a little short...not empty like a Sox game, but maybe 15-20 foursomes short and very few raffle prizes. Actually just one raffle prize.

Got some free haircuts, $20 coupons sports authotrity, Panera, $100 Del Frisco.....

We had a good time, would have been much better without the pouring rain and 110% humidity.

Bernsetin overly nice to you? Elaborate. He knows you've been on his ass so trying to swing you? Maybe? I would imagine he's calculated like that? Don't be bought, Big Fan!!!!!

Ha, you just beat me to it. I guess he really doesn't read the board.

Berns is a daily reader of this board.

As well as he should be. But I do believe that what everyone complains or bitches about he keeps going
in that direction, which I really don't understand.

When it started pouring, they just directed the carts into the cart room underneath, so everyone drove them into the basement. I jumped out before golfboy drive into the the basement.

I walk into the main dining room and said they are sending the carts underneath for cover.

bernstein says "Cover? are we taking cover, cover?" lol

So, when is Mac coming back to the score?

No real need since the ratings for Grimace and Slappy are pretty much the same Mac had.
