although I must admit I did not see a number of these players

No shame in being fifth best in Bear RB history. That group is stacked.

1) Payton
2) Sayers
3) Grange
4) Nagurski
5) Casares
6) Forte
7) Salaam

let's not forget about Matt Suhey. that poor guy must have brain damage from all those devastating blocks and super bowl TDs.

I forgot about Salaam, though Raymont Harris was probably better. Salaam apparently subsists these days by "working in the community" teaching kids about who Rashaan Salaam was.

Dan Bernstein told me I couldn't like Forsey.

Because of the acne?

Yeah, the acne.

Though I'm sure there's been quite a few Bears players with backne that I was allowed to like.

Suhey was a running back. a fullback is a subset of running back.

Pretty sure I'm the only one who is awake enough to realize that Cutler isn't the Bear's biggest issue.
I've never wavered. He's good enough. He's not Manning or Brady or Luck.

What has he ever proven he's good enough to do? Beat the worst team ever to make the playoffs?

What has any other part of this team - literally any other part - proven that they are good enough to do?

A lot of crazy going on in this thread.

No way in hell is Forte better than Sayers.

No way in hell is Thomas Jones better than Forte.

Forte has been a real good back for the Bears. I would probably put him right behind Neil Anderson, who I think is under valued by many.

2. Enis
3. Anderson
