I dont think North should worry about Dahl, since he wont ever sniff the ratings Dahl has got or will get in the future. North should worry about beating the the college radio stations that are beating him before he worries about the big boys.

How does one worry about another show?

You do the best you can do, use all resources and let the chips fall where they may.

In this case, the worry should not be on Dahl.

In mornings, it was even more one-sided, with Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic doing at 5.0 from 5-9 a.m. in men 25-54, while the Score and Mike North were doing the same 2.9. From 6-10 a.m., North posted a 3.2, up from a year ago, but WMVP did a 5.3.

Ouch.

I tried to listen to this show for about 5 min and I couldn't take it. North just sounds so desperate in his sports nonsense, and it's clear he doesn't really know much about football, or basketball, or baseball.

He was effective with that wise guy schtick in the afternoon because no one expected any intelligence from that show, it was like MJH - a bunch of guys talkin crap around some beers. But in the morning he is being exposed, unless you're doing a morning zoo show people expect you to be able to intelligently discuss the sports (and non-sports) news of the day. North can't do that.

If the quality of show has suffered, imagine what the topics will be when the Bears are out of the playoff race. He's already spending time arguing that Hester should be the QB.

North has his audience that will listen to him, Mike and Mike have theres and others do to.

Then there are a few people that bounce back and forth from shows depending on what is going on.

North has enough to survive for awhile.
