Spiegs asks if Goff wants to see the 21 K game or the 5 HR game. Spiegs didnt provide details for Goff that those 5 HRs would be by one player.....so Goff said he will take the 21 K game, thinking the 5 HRs are by a team.

Shep , who then understands the question, says he would rather see a guy hit 5 HR's...Goff then jumps back in with a "Oh...I though it was a team hitting 5 hrs"

There's other times where I've heard Goff miss the point or be lost in a conversation. He either doesn't pay attention or isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Or both.

The main issue is that Goff doesn't know when to shut up and listen. It is as if he feels they need to keep talking no matter what - he did it during transition, he does it in every conversation with Speigs. It is always stream of consciousness - making this show a hard listen given there is no real depth to any topic.

Slowly transitioning into the role of Terry's replacement.
