When's the last time any of them were healthy? Alshon is always hurt. So is Marquis Wilson. Marshall was hurt last year for half the season. Martellus Bennett was hurt, too, but at least played through it. And I don't want to even get started on Kevin White. How the F can you get hurt in walk-throughs in pre-camp activites? If there was an indication that White wasn't durable, Ryan Pace should not have considered him, let alone drafted him.

Except Bennett, you have to go back to Greg Olsen to find a guy that was both productive and dependable. Bears receiving corps is a pile of doo doo. Maybe if these guys were any good, I'd give them a pass. But because they're hurt and bad, they should all be cut.

Start over and get guys who can effing play already. They should be bringing new guys into H.H. today.

Well, its the guy throwing errant balls to them and putting their body in awkward positions.

Olsen was an awful blocker n got tackled very easily..don't miss him.

Although it wasn't his fault, Johnny Knox is another injured Bears receiver that was permanently hurt.

So far I only give Pace credit for making one good personnel move with Eddie Royal. We'll see how his free-agent center works out. But to come into camp and have no receiving corps is unacceptable, when you could have picked up more guys off the street in free agency. The Bears are babying all these receivers. If they can't play, then cut them and find other guys. That includes Alshon.

Gotta agree with this...Cutler does hang his receivers out to dry.

Does it not seem that there are more injuries from more players than ever before?

Yes. Those guys on the '85 team were never hurt, except McMahon. It's because they wanted to win and were accountable to each other, where even if they were hurt they played through it.

While I'm not a doctor, it's seems highly unlikely that a stress fracture of a shin would keep a guy out for 4 months. If I was White, I would be saying no on the surgery. Fractures heal on their own. He should be out only two months tops. We're not getting the real story with White if they're saying he's out for the season right now.

I think its more like :

Guys are bigger, faster and more athletic .. Not meaner or tougher though...today's NFL is softer , more basketball type athletes .

Less money back in the day, guys were always in fear of losing their job.

No, it's that teams are treating the players with white gloves all the time, when they should be tougher on them. Their pay should be structured in a way that they're getting paid for performance, and not compensated for being out. Get rid of all the guaranteed money in football.

I think many players are scheming the teams, faking injuries and then taking the money and running.

The answer to all these injuries is to get rid of the guaranteed money, and include a clause in the player contracts where they receive league minimum salary while they are on IR for injuries longer than two weeks. You watch how fast players come back from their injuries then.

Nobody's going to stop watching football because of injuries so why should they change anything. I'm not paying them, who cares.

Do you any clue what you are writing about? Laughing at Olsen's dependability?

If you checked the stats sheet, you'd see that he has started every game for Carolina the last three years. And his last year was his best with 1,000 yards receiving and 6 touchdowns as a tight end.

Angelo has said it was a mistake to trade Olsen.

You're confusing durability with dependability.

Need I say more? Marquis Wilson out again for the nth time. Jeffrey still out and not coming back anytime soon. White out for the season.

If I were Fox, I would be picking up the phone to reach out to Wes Welker. He probably has another year left at 34.

Randy Moss is looking to get back to the league apparently according to a Yahoo article today. What about him?

Well there's no point in signing him to win 6 games instead of 5. Maybe sign him so he can go in the HoF as a Bear or something.

Wilson is made of glass. I said a few weeks ago that Eddie Royal is a sleeper & might just lead the Bears in receptions. I hope not.

We are the most sorry team in the league. How is it that not one of your top four WRs can play?

Bears would be wise to keep tabs on the Raiders' WR situation. There will be a few cuts worth investigating.
