I still dont throw tons of credit for Arrieta at Theo Inc.

They have said, pitching is thrown against the wall and see what sticks. Jake stuck....and they didnt know he would be this good....it is a product of their plan.

If, when they acquired Jake, they specifically said "we think he has 20 win potential" thats another story.

THE PLAN, has produced very little pitching overall.

They did see his potential though. Baltimore would not let him throw a cutter for whatever reason.

Everyone says that kind of stuff....and while I want to tell the world Bosio is the next Wizard of Pitching, I feel that Jake made jake better, with his strength workouts. He makes some effortless throws late that are 94+.

Everything came together, he needed a change of scene. Bosio is the pitching coach Don Cooper thinks he is. Great move keeping him around. He IS good at his craft.

How many corn fields has Don Cooper crashed his F-150 into without being caught.
I set the O/U at 2.5

Shark = Worst in MLB in August
Jaker = Best in MLB in August

MLB fever catch it.

Anyone see Shark coming back for 4 years $80 Mill????

I assume he actually will want to win next year, so he will consider that first, as I assume most offers will be similar. I think he will see 3 year offers for $50 mill out of the gate.

His people will talk and Theo will verbally offer 4 years for $80 mill, which is what they offered before....and his numbers dont warrant much more.

Look for Arizona to make some offers. They need pitching and he has a house there now....

Epstein doesn't want anything to do with this loser, not for 1 year or 5 ..he's no good ..Cubs lookin at Greinke, Price , Cueto n Zimmerman..
