Crusty but tender on the inside....like Mr. Reason. Nice pepper flavor on an artisan roll with some nice lettuce. I feel like this is their attempt to go against Chik-Fil-A. I liked it better than the standard C-F-A sandwich. It's like a combo of that sandwich with KFC.

I don't go to McDonald's because I hate everything on the menu but this is something I would eat again.

You should try Dunkin' Donuts chicken biscuit sandwich.

I've had it. It pretty much sucks.

But it's edible if you take the bottom half of the biscuit off and eat it open-face with the top.

They also have a chicken on croissant with bacon and honey mustard...pretty good.

Agree on the chicken biscuit, though.

Just tried one due to the giveaways & Dr. Ken's recommendation.

I won't feel the need to ever eat one again. CFA is worlds better (and I'm not really a CFA chicken sanwich fan)

I don't like panera. Too expensive for what it is.

Panera always makes me feel queasy afterwards. Not sure why.

Sorry to piggyback off your thread, but I've been traversing the country in cars a lot lately and I never realized just how much McDonalds food sucks(besides breakfast). I'm not sure if other fast food options have gotten better or McDonalds has gotten worse but I don't think I've had a meal from there that registered any more than "I had food and now I'm not hungry".

Still the best place to stop for bathrooms besides the new awesome rest areas that are all the rage.

Pro tip on bathrooms during road trips: Starbucks or the lobby bathroom of a hotel. The hotel one's are the best option. Some people shy away from them as they think they will be caught not being a guest. Walk in like you own the place and no one questions. The employees use those bathrooms so they keep them clean

Yup. Hotels are my go to bathroom stop while on the road too. They don't care that you aren't a guest.

My Wife & Daughter love Panera. I only go there for meetings. They have done a great job courting & attracting business people. You can move tables around and camp out all day if you want. The one by me has numerous groups who meet there weekly or monthly.

Panera is yuppie garbage. The only reason to go there is to pick up some hot milfs.

Yes, then I finish them off with my secret sauce.

Panera's bread is horrible. Not horrible in terms of Wonder Bread, but horrible in terms of trying to fool America that bakery bread is just like Panera's commissary crap.

They used to actually be Panera Bread when they evolved from St. Louis Bread Company, and then got smart and took the Bread off the name.

They put 1.75 ounces of meat on their salads. Not the pick-2 half salads, the full salads.

Fuck them. Their advantage 6-7 years ago was WiFi back when a lot of places didn't have it. Now, every McDonald's and every non-grocery Starbucks in the country has WiFi.

I'd rather support independent coffee-oriented places that do serve food, such as La Fortuna in Willowbrook or the supposedly haunted place in Willow Springs.

Had one tonight. Decent. Reminds me of something KFC would put out, or Wendy's. I had this raspberry/cream pie that was pretty good. Haven't dined in a McDonald's in probably 2 decades; forgot how much their ketchup rules.

Because it's room temp.

Don't refrigerate your ketchup. It will be 10x better.

When I was in California this summer they have a combined thing with Carl's Junior called Green Burrito. I assume they could do this as Carl's and Hardee's are the same. Anyway one stop shopping for anyone in the car and it was all good.

The ones attached Hardees are called Red Burrito. Had it in Indiana last month. Not bad. Tastes similar to the store brand boxed do it yourself mexican dinners.

Yeah wtf is up with that? That fresh thyme grocery store is like five times bigger and it was built in half the time.
